Abstract: An article is described comprising a substrate, a pressure sensitive polyacrylate primer layer disposed on the substrate, and an adhesive layer disposed onto the primer layer; wherein the adhesive layer comprises a polyacrylate component. The adhesive layer is typically further bonded to a second substrate or a release liner. In some embodiments, at least one substrate further comprises a microstructured surface layer and the primer layer is bonded to the microstructured surface layer. In other embodiments, the adhesive layer is further bonded to a (e.g. post) structure. In some embodiments, the articles are optical films or optical film stacks. Methods of making an (e.g. adhesive coated) article are also described.

Abstract: Provided is a PSA sheet with which good air release properties can be obtained while whose quality can be further enhanced. This invention provides a PSA sheet comprising a substrate film and a PSA layer provided to at least one face of the substrate film. The PSA sheet further comprises a coating layer partially covering the PSA layer surface. The PSA sheet's adhesive is formed of the PSA layer and the coating layer. The coating layer has a linearly extending part running from one edge to another edge of the adhesive face. The linearly extending part has a first face forming the PSA sheet's adhesive face and a second face located on the PSA layer side relative to the first face. The second face of the linearly extending part forms an overall gently curved line in a cross section perpendicularly intersecting the length direction of the linearly extending part.

Abstract: Die-cuttable and printable adhesive containing labelstocks for use in preparing die cut adhesive labels, and methods of preparing the labelstocks and die cut labels are described. The labelstocks comprise extruded machine direction oriented monolayer or multilayer films and an adhesive layer. The monolayer films comprise a mixture of about 25 percent to 80 percent by weight of a propylene polymer or copolymer, and from about 20 percent to about 75 percent by weight of a polyethylene. The films are stretch oriented in the machine direction at a temperature at about or above the melting temperature of the polyethylenes.

Abstract: An article for securing an object to a surface is provided. The article comprises a conformable backing having top and bottom major surfaces and a perimeter edge, an adhesive coated on at least a portion of the bottom major surface of the backing, and a self-supporting carrier releasably adhered to the top major surface of the backing, the carrier having spaced-apart first and second sections, each section having a central edge. The central edges define opposing borders of an object-conformable region of the backing. On opposite sides of the object-conformable region, the backing comprises two anchor regions. Also provided is a method of using the article to secure an object to the surface. The method comprises using at least one section of the carrier to conform the backing to at least a portion of the topological shape of the object to be secured to the surface.

Abstract: A binding tape member and a wire harness having a binding tape member configured to having the same function of conventional wire harnesses without the need for corrugated tube, pre-wrapping or post wrapping. The binding tape member has a tape member body that covers a group of electrical lines by being wrapped around the group of electrical lines. The tape body has a trapezoidal upper surface portion with an upper side and a lower side that correspond to the tape width end edges and a trapezoidal lower surface portion facing a direction opposite to the trapezoidal upper surface portion are alternatingly arranged in the tape length direction. Also, in a trapezoidal upper surface portion and a trapezoidal lower surface portion that are adjacent to each other, sides thereof in the tape length direction are connected to each other in an integrated manner by a rectangular side wall portion.

Abstract: The present invention is relates to conductive laminate. The conductive laminate is applied to a touch panel or touch screen, thereby exhibiting excellent durability, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer included in the conductive laminate may prevent a change in resistance of a conductive layer, and effectively inhibit lift-off or peeling, or generation of bubbles at a pressure-sensitive adhesive interface.
