    Abstract: Provided are a display panel and a display apparatus; the display panel comprises at least one sensing module (100) arranged in a peripheral area (B), the sensing module (100) comprises at least one sensing unit, the sensing unit (101, 102, 103) comprises a sensing transistor, a first end of the sensing transistor receives an electrical signal, a gate of the sensing transistor receives a first control signal, and a second end of the sensing transistor outputs a photosensitive signal. When the sensing transistor receives the first control signal, a gate of the sensing transistor is set to be in a closed state; when the sensing transistor is illuminated, the voltage outputted by a drain electrode of the sensing transistor increases, the voltage change amount is read as the photosensitive signal, and ambient light is identified according to the spectral features of common ambient light in combination with the response results of different wavelengths. On the basis of that functionality, the display color temperature can be optimized and display performance is improved.

    Abstract: This application provides a wireless power transfer unit, device, and method. The wireless power transfer unit includes a radiation source, a light-emitting body, a controller, and a metasurface. The radiation source is configured to emit an electromagnetic wave signal. The controller is configured to control the light-emitting body to provide light sources of different light intensities. The light-emitting body provides the light sources of different light intensities in response to control of the controller. The metasurface is configured to perform phase adjustment on the electromagnetic wave signal that is incident to the metasurface. Equivalent impedance of the metasurface varies with a change of the light intensity, so that an offset of a phase of the electromagnetic wave signal emitted through the metasurface also varies with the change of the light intensity.

    Abstract: Photonic processors are described. The photonic processors described herein are configured to perform matrix-matrix (e.g., matrix-vector) multiplication. Some embodiments relate to photonic processors arranged according to a dual-rail architecture, in which numeric values are encoded in the difference between a pair optical signals (e.g., in the difference between the powers of the optical signals). Relative to other architectures, these photonic processors exhibit increased immunity to noise. Some embodiments relate to photonic processors including modulatable detector-based multipliers. Modulatable detectors are detectors designed so that the photocurrent can be modulated according to an electrical control signal. Photonic processors designed using modulatable detector-based multipliers are significantly more compact than other types of photonic processors.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a light sensor circuit, which comprises a photodiode and a capacitor unit. The cathode of the photodiode is controlled by a capacitive unit to maintain the same or close voltage level as the anode of the photodiode, which significantly reduces the effect of the dark current of the photodiode. Thus, the light sensor circuit can effectively maintain the performance and accuracy of an analog-to-digital converter applying the light sensor circuit. The circuit design difficulty and manufacturing cost are also significantly reduced.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for reading out a pixel array are provided. An example system may include a plurality of pixels. The system may further include an interface circuit configured to provide an analog signal at a sense node. The analog signal may represent the activity of at least two pixels. The interface circuit may include a plurality of capacitors of which at least one capacitor is connected at one end to an output stage of a pixel and at another end to the sense node. The system may further include a readout circuit configured to convert the analog signal at the sense node to a digital signal.
