Abstract: A multi-pixel spectroscopy sensor for spectral analysis of a sample under test including an array of pixel elements generating a dataset including a plurality of data values corresponding to the pixel elements upon illumination of the sample by a light source. Each of the pixel elements including a stack of layers including first and second reflective structures, a phase tuning element, a detector element, and contact elements. The sensor further includes a read-out circuit connected to each of the contact elements for simultaneous read-out of a plurality of photocurrents for generating and outputting the dataset for the spectral analysis of the sample under test. The phase tuning element of each of the pixel elements is configured for a different wavelength response of the light and each photodetector of the pixel elements is comprised of a semiconductor material.

Abstract: A spectral radiation gas detector has at least one lenslet with a circular blazed grating for diffraction of radiation to a focal plane. A detector is located at the focal plane receiving radiation passing through the at least one lenslet for detection at a predetermined diffraction order. A plurality of order filters are associated with the at least one lenslet to pass radiation at wavelengths corresponding to the predetermined diffraction order, each filter blocking a selected set of higher orders. A controller is adapted to compare intensity at pixels in the detector associated with each of the plurality of order filters and further adapted to determine a change in intensity exceeding a threshold.

Abstract: The present application relates to a terahertz time-domain spectroscopy system. In this terahertz time-domain spectroscopy system, the femtosecond laser light radiated by the femtosecond laser is collimated by a first diaphragm, and then is split by a beam splitter into a pump light and a probe light. The pump light passes through the first light path module to generate a terahertz pulse, and the probe light passes through the first light path module to generate a linear polarization probe light having the same optical distance as that of the pump light. The linear polarization probe light and the terahertz pulse are combined by a beam combiner to obtain a light beam to be detected carrying the terahertz pulse information. Two electro-optical crystals with the same thickness are used in a detection device simultaneously. Changing the crystal axis angle of the two electro-optical crystals, there is a phase compensation to the two components o light and e light of the probe light, so as to realize linear detection to high power terahertz pulse and improve measurement accuracy.

The disparity in measured light intensity along the spatially variable detector and the disparity in emitted light intensity along the spatially variable light source can be determined and adjusted.
