Abstract: Provided are a transmitter and a method for transmitting a data block in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the following steps: deciding the number of bits (s) and encoders (NES) to allocate to one axis of a signal constellation; encoding an information bit based on the s and the NES and generating a coded block; parsing the coded block based on the s and the NES and generating a plurality of frequency sub-blocks; and transmitting the plurality of frequency sub-blocks to a receiver.

In some aspects, a user equipment may determine a first decoding result for a plurality of downlink control channels of a diversity enhancement based non-coherent joint transmission communication and a second decoding result for a plurality of data channels corresponding to the plurality of downlink control channels; and selectively provide feedback regarding the first decoding result and feedback regarding the second decoding result, the feedback regarding the first decoding result indicating whether reception of one or more downlink control channels, of the plurality of downlink control channels, is successful, and the feedback regarding the second decoding result indicating whether decoding of a codeword of the plurality of data channels is successful. Abstract: A transmission apparatus includes a transmission signal generator which, in operation, generates a transmission signal having an aggregate physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) that includes a legacy preamble, a legacy header, a non-legacy preamble, a plurality of non-legacy headers and a plurality of data fields; and a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the generated transmission signal, wherein the legacy preamble, the legacy header and the plurality of non-legacy headers are transmitted using a standard bandwidth, the non-legacy preamble and the plurality of data fields are transmitted using a variable bandwidth that is larger than the standard bandwidth and wherein a plurality of sets of each of the plurality of non-legacy headers and each of the plurality of data fields are transmitted sequentially in a time domain.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and provides a channel state information measurement method and apparatus, so that a receiver can measure CSI without joining a network of a WiFi transmitter. Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a synchronization processing method and apparatus, and a device. The method includes: sending, by a network device, a first synchronization signal and a second synchronization signal to a terminal device within a first time unit, where frequencies of first synchronization signals in all beams are the same, and each beam has a different difference between the frequency of the first synchronization signal and a frequency of the second synchronization signal; and determining, by the terminal device, an optimal transmit beam of the network device for the terminal device and a time sequence of the optimal transmit beam based on the first synchronization signal and the second synchronization signal. This method effectively reducing synchronization detection complexity of the terminal device.

Abstract: Transmission quality is improved in an environment in which direct waves dominate in a transmission method for transmitting a plurality of modulated signals from a plurality of antennas at the same time. All data symbols used in data transmission of a modulated signal are precoded by hopping between precoding matrices so that the precoding matrix used to precode each data symbol and the precoding matrices used to precode data symbols that are adjacent to the data symbol in the frequency domain and the time domain all differ. A modulated signal with such data symbols arranged therein is transmitted.

Abstract: There is disclosed a method performed by a User Equipment, UE, for Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request, HARQ, retransmission of data in a multi-antenna wireless communication system. The method comprises, receiving Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement, ACK/NACK, feedback information relating to data transmitted on two streams, and performing, upon rank reduction where only one stream is available for transmission, retransmission of data on a cancelled stream over the remaining stream. There is furthermore disclosed a UE configured for performing the method. A transmission method together with an arrangement for a UE is also disclosed.

Abstract: Channel data for a plurality of OFDM tones for one or more spatial or space-time streams are determined. A plurality of angle values associated with the one or more spatial or space-time streams and the one or more OFDM tones of the plurality of OFDM tones are determined. For each of the one or more spatial or space time streams, a per-tone signal to noise ratio (PT-SNR) associated with one or more OFDM tone of the plurality of OFDM tones is determined, and an average signal to noise ratio (avg-SNR) is determined by averaging signal to noise ratio (SNR) values corresponding to one or more OFDM tones of the plurality of OFDM tones. A feedback report is generated to include at least i) the plurality of angle values, ii) the PT-SNRs, and iii) the avg-SNR.
