Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide secure earthing, and to facilitate mounting/dismounting a card. SOLUTION: In this connector 1, (1) first GND connection parts 11-1, 11-2 are provided on faces opposing to a sib-card board on latches 7-1, 7-2, and grounding is realized by making the first GND connection parts in contact with first electrodes provided on a sub-card board when the sub-card board is connected with the connector, and/or (2) second GND connecting parts 12-1, 12-1 are provided in positions opposing to the sub-card board on faces opposite to latches on latch supporting parts 6-1, 6-2, and grounding is realized by making the second GND connection parts in contact with second electrodes provided on the sub-card board when the sub-card board is connected with the connector. This connector is incorporated into a computer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce a space for installing components by adding engaging means to a rocking means operated at the time of loading/unloading operation so as to surely load an equipment within a main body. CONSTITUTION: At the time of loading the equipment usable for an information processor (an HDD pack, e.g.) 38 within the main body of the information processor, the equipment 38 is held by a holding means. Next, the locking means 64 of the equipment 38 is operated under this state to rock the rocking means 64 to be engaged with the engaging means 72 and 74. As the result of this effect, the equipment 38 is surely loaded within the main body. At the time of unloading the equipment 38 from the main body, on the other hand, the rocking means 64 is rocked in a direction opposite to that at the time of the rocking operation to release the engaging state of the rocking means 64 and the engaging means 72 and 74. Thereby the number of the points of parts is reduced to reduce the space for installing the parts.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable effective security in a combination state by placing a security selection switch of the extension unit, coupled with a notebook type PC, at a given position and locking a cable lock to a slot. SOLUTION: A security select slide knob 10 provided on the bottom surface of the extension unit 2 has three select positions. When the knob 10 is slid from a 1st select position indicating a free position to a 2nd select position, release buttons 6 and 7 of bays 4 and 5 are fixed to disable subsystems put in the bays to be taken out. To protect both the PC 1 and extension unit 2, the PC 1 is coupled with the extension unit 2 and the knob 10 is set at a 3rd selection position; and then the release buttons 6 and 7 are fixed, an injection lever 3 is also fixed, and the cable lock is fitted to an security slot 9 to couple the extension unit 2 integrally with the subsystems, thereby protecting the whole with the PC 1 which can not be separated.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce the number of part items, and to improve the space efficiency without damaging the operability in opening/closing a lid. CONSTITUTION: A structure having a lid is provided with a latching mechanism for locking turning end sides of a keyboard part 20 and a lid 16, which are equipped with a body 12 in an opening/closing manner to the body 12 and includes a latching member 26A (or 26B), which is movable from a first position where the latching mechanism locks the lid 16 and the keyboard part 20 to the body 12 to a second position, where the locking condition of the body 12 to the lid 16 and the keyboard part is unlocked, and only the locking condition of the body 12 to the lid 16 is unlocked at a third position a between the first position and the second position. The latching member 26A is constantly urged to the first position by a compressive coil spring 36A, and the compressive coil spring 36A is deformed into a V-shape upper side projects upward) at the second position of the latching member 26A.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To stop equipment from being detached when a device itself is locked and enables the equipment to easily be detached when not locked by stopping a lid from being detached through operation with a movable body when a lock body is projected from a housing. CONSTITUTION: When a slider 26, i.e., plate (movable body) 60 is moved, the lock body 20A comes out of the housing 2 through an insertion opening 62. A projection 70 of the lid 2A is in a groove 66 of the plate 60 and this plate 60 locks the lid 2A. Consequently, the lid 2A can not be detached from an HDD dismounting part 2E, so nothing can be detached in the housing 2. Thus, the movement of the housing 2 is restrained by using a keyhole 20B of the lock body 20A projecting out of the housing 2 and anything can be prevented from being taken out of the housing 2. When the plate 60 is moved until the lock body 20A enters the housing 2, the lid 2A can be detached from the HDD dismounting part 2E since the projection 70 is released from the groove 66 of the plate 60.

CONSTITUTION: A head part 46 in which a plurality of terminals are installed in the insides of different slits of a plurality of slits so as to prevent from being exposed to the outside is connected with a battery I/F part 76 provided with a plurality of plugs connected integrally with a personal computer, so that a plurality of the terminals are electrically connected with prescribed counterpart plugs, respectively. In this case, since all of the slits of the head part 46 are formed so as to penetrate a battery pack 40 in the thickness direction and be opened to the upper face and the lower face and side faces, connection with the battery I/F part 76 can be done in any direction from the upper side, the lower side, and the sides at the time of connecting the head part 46 with respect to the battery I/F part 76.
