Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film zinc oxide resonator having higher crystalline performance and orientation without giving any effect on its resistivity and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This invention discloses the manufacturing method of the resonator. This method includes a step that provides a substrate base (50) having a dielectric layer. Then an adhesive layer (115) is formed on the dielectric layer and a new creation promoting film (120) is formed on the adhesive layer. Succeedingly a zinc oxide layer (125) is formed on the new creation promoting film and an upper side conductive layer (130) is formed on the zinc oxide layer.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method, using navigation data, which enable even a weak GPS signal affected by an obstacle such as a structure, etc., to be used for position measurement. SOLUTION: A radio terminal increases its total signal detection sensitivity by increasing integration intervals (e.g. >=20 ms) by performing data wipe-off operation by using estimated navigation data. After an intense GPS signal is detected, the intense GPS signal is demodulated to compute a satellite position table including navigation data. Then the demodulated navigation data are matched against known features of navigation data to estimate navigation data as to a weak GPS signal. Then the estimated navigation data are used to increase the integration intervals of the weak GPS signal, so that even the weak GPS signal can be detected by the ratio terminal.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new routing protocol of Ad-Hoc network. SOLUTION: In this method, a source node holds the position information, routing information of all nodes inside a local node topology and the rough position information of partial nodes outside the local topology. When it is necessary for the source node to transmit a packet to a destination node inside the local topology, the routing information is already provided. When it is necessary for the source node to transmit a packet to a destination node outside the local topology, however, which node inside the local topology is closest to the destination node is specified while using the rough position information of the destination node. When this specified node is not the source node, the source node transmits the packet to the specified node and transmits the packet to the destination node later. In the other case, the packet is dropped.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital converter(ADC) that can reduce the conversion spurs (whiskers) related to the nonlinearity of an AD conversion function. SOLUTION: One embodiment of this invention indicates that an analog dither signal is fed to an analog input signal before a quantization process. The dither signal used for the integrated circuit of this invention has a variable amplitude controlled by a processor. Then the processor decides the amplitude of the dither signal to be added to the analog input signal by analyzing quantization digital indication of the input signal with the dither signal added thereto. The amplitude of the dither signal depends on a power level of one carrier or more in existence in the analog input signal. Adding the dither signal to the analog input signal can reduce the conversion spurs caused by the nonlinearity of the AD conversion function.

As one implementation style, as 4-sample delay bank provided with four flip-flops, adders and option output buffers to be used for storing the average sample zfa(n) to be provided to the comparator is adopted for the averaging circuit.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to realize uplink timing synchronization and access control with respect to a wireless communication system in general especially in a multi-access wireless communication system. SOLUTION: A mobile station of this invention transmits a general-purpose uplink access signal at any of intervals. When this access is permitted, a base station transmits access confirmation including initial timing and power correction together with designation of an initial channel at which the mobile station can start call setup process. For re-synchronization, the mobile station transmits a timing synchronizing signal in exclusive timing and at an access interval. The base station measures the arrival time of the signal and returns proper timing correction. Thus, the orthogonality between mobile stations can surely be maintained.
