Abstract: PURPOSE: A low pressure-forming thermosetting resin composition is provided, to obtain a resin composition with improved impact resistance and dent resistance and excellent formability by adding low viscosity filler and rubber component to a thermosetting resin composition capable of low pressure forming. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises a base resin; a monomer; an inorganic filler; 1-15 wt% of low viscosity filler; and 1-20 wt% of a rubber reinforcement. Preferably the composition comprises 5-30 wt% of a base resin; 0.5-20 wt% of a monomer; 0.5-15 wt% of a crystalline polyester resin; 20-40 wt% of a reinforcement; 10-50 wt% of an inorganic filler; 0.01-2 wt% of an initiator; and 0.1-5 wt% of a releasing agent. Preferably the low viscosity filler is an empty glass sphere; the rubber reinforcement is a butadiene-based rubber; the base resin is at least one unsaturated polyester-based resin selected from the group consisting of an iso-based resin, an ortho-based resin, a tera-based resin, a modified bisphenol-based resin, a bisphenol-based resin and a vinyl ester-based resin; the monomer is at least one selected from the group consisting of styrene, methyl methacrylate, divinyl benzene, α-methyl styrene, vinyl acetate and acrylate; the reinforcement is a glass fiber having a length of 0.64-5.08 mm; and the inorganic filler is at least one selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate, mica, talc and clay.

And the low specific gravity thermosetting composite material is produced by molding the low specific gravity thermosetting composite material composition by a sheet molding compound(SMC) method.
