Abstract: Systems and methods in which one or more wireless communication stations implement duplex-mode remediation to facilitate the signal communication when an issue with respect to self-interference is identified are described. Duplex-mode remediation may be implemented for various communication scenarios, such as for random access phase communications, for communications having different priorities, etc. A wireless communication station may implement one or more changes with respect to the full duplex operation of the wireless communication station based upon determining that an issue with respect to self-interference may be, or is being, experienced, such as to provide for a wireless communication station operating in an in-band full duplex mode to increase interference cancellation and/or to fall back to a sub-band full duplex mode or a half duplex mode, to provide for a wireless communication station operating in a sub-band full duplex mode to increase interference cancellation and/or to fall back to a half duplex mode.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a set of measurements related to a unicast service channel based at least in part on one or more reference signals associated with the unicast service channel and a set of measurements related to a multicast/broadcast service (MBS) channel based at least in part on one or more reference signals associated with the MBS channel. The UE may apply one or more communication parameters to ensure continuity for an MBS service. For example, in some aspects, the one or more communication parameters are based at least in part on the set of measurements related to the unicast service channel and the set of measurements related to the MBS channel. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) operating as an NR-Light UE may repeat transmissions of uplink signals such as a random access (RA) message (Msg) 3 on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) during a random access channel (RACH) procedure. The UE may receive a random access response (RAR) message including a RAR uplink (UL) grant. The UE may determine, based on a single bit of the RAR message, whether repetition of a RA Msg 3 is indicated. The UE may determine both of a repetition factor and a transmit power control (TPC) command for the RA Msg 3 based on a TPC field of the RAR UL grant. The UE may transmit the RA Msg 3 based on the repetition factor and the TPC command.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques are described herein for cross component carrier (CC) shared channel repetition. The method for wireless communications may include identifying a set of CCs supported by a user equipment (UE) for communications with a base station. A UE may receive a downlink control message from the base station that schedules multiple repetitions of a transport block for the UE, where a first repetition of the multiple repetitions is scheduled on a first CC of the set of CCs and a second repetition of the multiple repetitions is scheduled on a second CC of the set of CCs. The method may also include transmitting or receiving the first repetition via the first CC and the second repetition via the second CC.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques at a user equipment (UE) provide for efficiently identifying a dormancy state of a secondary cell (SCell) configured for communications with a base station. A UE may be configured with a duration of time for which an SCell is to be in an indicated dormancy state. Accordingly, when the UE receives an indication of a dormancy state for an SCell, the UE may determine that the SCell is in the indicated dormancy state for the duration of time. The UE may also be configured with a default dormancy state of the SCell. Thus, after the duration of time expires, the UE may determine that the SCell is in the default dormancy state (e.g., the UE may fall back to the default dormancy of the SCell after the duration of time expires).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A set of uplink control channel resources that are configured for acknowledgment transmissions may be shared among user equipments (UEs) that are enabled to receive multicast communications. Each of the shared set of uplink control channel resources may be associated with set(s) of channel state information. UEs may measure a multicast channel to determine channel state information for the multicast channel. After failing to receive a multicast transmission, UEs may transmit an acknowledgment feedback message over one of the shared uplink control channel resources that is associated with the set of channel state information determined by the UE. A base station that receives the acknowledgment feedback message may transmit a multicast retransmission for the UEs using transmission parameters that are adapted for the set(s) of channel state information associated with the occupied uplink control channel resource.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently reporting channel state information (CSI) with limited overhead. In one aspect, if a user equipment (UE) is configured to transmit data and CSI to a base station periodically, the UE may transmit the CSI when the UE has data to transmit to the base station. In particular, the UE may transmit data and a CSI report during a transmission opportunity if the UE has data to transmit in the transmission opportunity. Otherwise, the UE may suppress transmission of the CSI report. In another aspect, a UE may be configured to transmit CSI to a base station when downlink channel conditions change. In particular, the UE may request to report CSI to the base station when channel conditions change, and the base station may trigger the UE to report the CSI after receiving the request.

Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. Because the local antennas and auxiliary antennas may have different capabilities (e.g., due to different power or other constraints), the first device may generate first uplink signals for transmission using the local antennas differently from second uplink signals for transmission using the auxiliary antennas. The first device may transmit the first uplink signals to the base station using the local antennas and transmit the second uplink signals to the second device for transmission to the base station using the auxiliary antennas based on different configurations.

Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas associated with different power classes. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. The local and auxiliary antennas may be associated with different power classes, and the first device may transmit a message to a base station indicating that the first device is capable of transmitting using antennas associated with different power classes. The first device may then receive configurations from a base station of different transmit powers to transmit on the antennas associated with the different power classes, and the first device may transmit uplink signals to the base station in accordance with the different transmit power configurations.
