Abstract: Techniques are provide for passive positioning of user equipment (UE) with sidelink assistance. An example method for passive positioning includes receiving a first positioning reference signal from a first station at a first time, receiving a second positioning reference signal from a second station at a second time, receiving positioning assistance data associated with positioning reference signals received by a proximate user equipment, determining a reference signal timing difference based at least in part on the first time and the second time, and determining a current location based at least in part on the reference signal timing difference and the positioning assistance data.

Abstract: The apparatus of wireless communication includes a UE and a base station. The base station may transmit, to the UE, a configuration for a plurality of PDCCH monitoring groups for monitoring different sets of search spaces. The plurality of PDCCH monitoring groups may include a first PDCCH monitoring group with a first number of PDCCH monitoring occasions and a second PDCCH monitoring group with a second number of PDCCH monitoring occasions different from the first number. The base station may determine which PDCCH monitoring group to send a PHCCH, and transmit the PDCCH to the UE. The UE may determine to monitor search spaces of the PDCCH monitoring group, and monitor search spaces corresponding to the PDCCH monitoring group. The UE may switch between the first and second PDCCH monitoring groups based on a condition or an indication from the base station.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for performing separate channel sensing procedures for transmissions via a mobile termination (MT) role and for transmissions via a distributed unit (DU) role of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node. In one aspect, the IAB node may obtain channel access for transmissions via the MT role by performing a first channel sensing procedure and may obtain channel access for transmissions via the DU role by performing a second channel sensing procedure. The IAB node may determine a first timing of a first sensing slot for performing the first channel sensing procedure and a second timing of a second sensing slot for performing the second channel sensing procedure in accordance with a capability of the IAB node and a transmission timing of the transmissions via the MT role and the DU role.

Abstract: A method performed by a first sidelink (SL) user equipment (UE) includes receiving a downlink control information (DCI) from a number of coupled DCIs. The DCI grants reception of a number of scheduled physical SL shared channels (PSSCHs) over an unlicensed SL carrier, and requests a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) response for the scheduled PSSCHs. The method also includes receiving at least one of the PSSCHs from a second SL UE. The method further includes transmitting the HARQ response based on the at least one received PSSCH.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless sensing. In an aspect, a user equipment measures at least a line-of-sight path and a non-line-of-sight path of a first downlink positioning reference signal (DL-PRS) from a first transmission-reception point, measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a second DL-PRS from a second TRP, measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a third DL-PRS from a third TRP, and enables a location of a non-participating target object to be determined based, at least in part, on reference signal time difference (RSTD) measurements between a time of arrival of the LOS path of the first DL-PRS and the ToAs of the NLOS paths of the first, second, and third DL-PRS. In an aspect, the non-participating target object does not participate in determining its own location.
