    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the deflection quantity of a glass substrate even if color filters are formed to a larger size by arranging all the color filters in the state of setting the long sides of the color filters in parallel with the long side of the glass substrate. CONSTITUTION:Six pieces of the square color filters 2 for LCDs are formed in two rows and three columns in the prescribed positions on the square glass substrate 1. The directions of the color filters 2 for LCDs are so set that the long sides of the color filters 2 for LCDs parallel with the long side of the glass substrate 1, i.e., the long sides of the color filters 2 for LCDs diametrally face the long side of the glass substrate 1. Both of the spacing between the long side of the glass substrate l and the corresponding long sides of the color filters 2 for LCDs and the spacing between the short side of the glass substrate 1 and the corresponding short sides of the color filters 2 for LCDs are set at =8.5 inches.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the weight and improve the heat resistance of a belt by providing an endless band, containing in its inside an endless engaging band engaged with each block and flat bands positioned in the outside, and engaging the engaging band with each block in an engaging part forming a protruded and recessed parts with a predetermined space in a lengthwise direction of the band. CONSTITUTION:A V belt 1 is formed by mounting blocks 4 successively to an endless band 2 consisting of a lower part engaging band 3b and flat bands 2a, 2b. Drive torque for rotating a drive pulley 12 is transmitted to the block 4 by friction force generated between friction transmitting surfaces F, F of the block 4 and the pulley 12 by a side pressure acting on the pulley 12. The drive torque is transmitted to the block 4 and through a recessed part 6, formed thereof, to a protruded part 31 of the lower part engaging band 3b engaged with this recessed part 6. Since these protruded and recessed parts 6, 31 are of fitting structure having a quadrangular section, no relatively rotating conversion motion is generated between the block 4 and the band 3b at the time of transmitting power, thus heat generation due to rubbing by both of them is decreased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To readily produce the subject structure having various different cross-sectional shapes by arranging carriers holding fibers to be woven into a matrix state, dividing the matrix into blocks and carrying out basic weaving operations in turn alternately for each selected block. CONSTITUTION:Many carriers 1 are arranged to a matrix state in a plane and the carries-arranged area is divided into plural rectangular blocks G1, G2.... Plural blocks are selected from the prepared blocks, and fibers to be woven are held in the respective carriers of the selected blocks and subjected to basic weaving operations in turn alternately for each selected block. Three-dimensional fiber structure having various different cross-sectional shapes can readily be woven without changing the dispositions of carrier-driving equipments 10-13, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To bond end plates and a cylinder firmly by clamping the cylinder and both end plates by means of a clamping element through a shaft running through the center of both end plates and bringing both end plates into contact with the cylinder end surface. CONSTITUTION:A fiber reinforced plastic cylinder 1 and end plates 2 and 3 disposed on both ends of the cylinder 1 are provided. A shaft 4 running through the center of both end plates 2 and 3 is installed, and the cylinder 1 and the end plates 2 and 3 are clamped by a clamping element consisting of a mounting seat 5, bolts 7, a male screw 6, nuts 9, a sealing material 8 and the like through said shaft 4. A round tray 14 with a through flow hole 16 opened through the shaft 4 in the cylinder 1 is mounted, and a notch tongue piece 15 close to the inner wall of the cylinder 1 is provided on a ring section of said round tray 14. As a result, bonding of the cylinder 1 and end plates 2 and 3 becomes firm to generate good rotation balance and high rated number of rotations. Also, mounting and dismounting of the cylinder and the end plates can be carried out easily and separated substances in a rotating body can be removed and cleaned easily.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight and high heat-resistant driving V belt by forming an endless beld made of metal and to which blocks each made of non-metal and having friction transmitting faces are attached, by means by welding and joining of engaging bands to a flat band located outside thereof, the engaging bands engaging with each block in such a manner as being incapable of displacement relative thereto. CONSTITUTION:An endless band 2 made of high strength metal is formed by junction of upper and lower engaging bands 3a, 3b to a flat band 2c interposed therebetween, the engaging bands having respective projecting portions 31, 33 of rectangular section provided on their inner or outer peripheral faces at regular intervals. Also, a block 4 made of nonmetal has friction transmitting faces F, F on both side faces and also has on its upper portion a recessed portion 6 which is formed at the bottom of a notch recessed portion 5 and into which the projecting portion 31 of the lower engaging band 3b is to be fitted, and in addition, an upper lid 7 which has recessed portions 8 on its upper and lower faces for engaging with the projecting portions 33 of the upper engaging belt 3a is locked in the notch recessed portion 5; since the band is made of metal, its strength and heat resistance are both high, while tensile forces acted on the block are made smaller, the block being made of lightweight nonmetal; a long-life V belt can as a result be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent cracks in calcining and stably spin the subject pitch by making a flow of pitch collide with an introduction hole on the upstream side of a spinneret hole and discharging the pitch. CONSTITUTION:A block 3 having pitch introduction holes (5a) and (5b) of a width (w) and an introduction hole 6 at the bottom is fitted into a spinneret introduction hole part 2, assembled and attached to a spinneret member 4. Molten pitch is fed from the introduction holes (5a) and (5b), made to collide with the introduction hole 6 and discharged from a spinneret hole 1 to afford the aimed spun yarn.
