Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a raw material for agricultural chemicals and drugs from inexpensive raw materials mildly and easily in high purity and in high yield, by reacting meta-nitrophenol with meta- dinitrobenzene in the presence of a base in an aprotic polar solvent. CONSTITUTION:Meta-nitrophenol is reacted with meta-dinitrobenzene in the presence of a base (e.g., alkali metal carbonate, alkali metal hydrogencarbonate, etc.) in an aprotic polar solvent (e.g., formamide, N-methylformamide, N,N- dimethylformamide, etc.) to give 3,3'-dinitrodiphenyl ether. This method has high conversion ratio to the aimed substance and high selectivity, a small amount of by-products such as tar, etc., consequently the aimed substance is easily purified.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective demethylation method of a methoxy group existing on an ortho position (second position) of aromatic carboxylic acid, and a method for producing a compound via the demethylation method, in which 2-hydroxybenzoic acids are amide-bonded to 2-aminothiazoles having excellent enterokinesis improving action.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for producing a compound represented by formula (2a) in which a Lewis acid selected from BF, TiCLand AlClis reacted with a compound represented by formula (1a) in an ester-based, ketone-based or amide-based solvent (with the proviso that, in the case of BF, an alkali metal bromide or an alkali metal iodide is allowed to coexist). The invention also relates to a method for producing an aminothiazole derivative via the method.
Abstract:
A continuous process of preparing bromopicrin is disclosed. The process is effected by transferring a continuous flow of a first mixture and a continuous flow of a second mixture into a first reactor, the first mixture containing nitromethane and bromine and the second mixture containing an aqueous solution of an alkaline substance, to thereby obtain a reaction mixture which comprises bromopicrin in said first reactor; and collecting the bromopicrin from the reaction mixture. Highly pure bromopicrin obtained by this process is also disclosed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst immobilized vessel or a catalyst immobilized tubular reactor of immobilizing a solid catalyst which can be used for carbon-carbon bond forming reaction between a compound having unsaturated bonds and a compound having active methylene or active methine onto an inner wall of the vessel or the tube. SOLUTION: The reactor immobilizes the solid catalyst which is used for addition reaction or condensation reaction of forming carbon-carbon bond by using the compound (x1) having unsaturated bonds and the compound (x2) having active methylene or active methine, wherein the solid catalyst is a composite body prepared by covering a polymer (A) having a linear-chain polyethylene imine skeleton (a) with a metal oxide (B) and the composite body is immobilized onto the inner wall of the vessel or the tube.
