Abstract: Thermoplastic moulding compounds contain: (A) 30 to 98 wt % of a graft polymer which consists of (ak) 30 to 90 wt % of a cross-linked acrylic rubber graft nucleus; (as) 10 to 70 wt % of a graft shell made of (as/1) 50 to 100 wt % of a styrene compound, of an acrylic or methacrylic acid (C1-C8-alkyl)ester, or of a mixture of the styrene compound and the acrylic or methacrylic acid (C1C8-alkyl)ester; and (as/2) 0 to 50 wt % of one or several other monomers; (B) 1 to 50 wt % of a thermoplastic polymer; and (C) 1 to 70 wt % of a rubber elastic block copolymer.

Abstract: A film in roll form, especially for packaging foodstuffs as a substitute for PVC film, of 15 to 99.6 wt% of a rubber-elastic styrene-butadiene block copolymer, 15 to 99.6 wt% of a thermoplastic polymer, 0.1 to 10 wt% of an antifogging agent, 0.1 to 5 wt% of a primary antioxidant, 0.1 to 5 wt% of a secondary antioxidant and 0.1 to 50 wt% of other auxiliaries. The transverse shrinkage of said film is not more than 3 % after three months' storage.

Abstract: Rubber-elastic block copolymers of at least one hard block A consisting of styrene monomers and at least one elastomeric block (B/A) of styrene monomers and containing dienes, the glass temperature Tg of block A being over 25 ~C and that of block B/A is under 25 ~C and the phase volume ratio between block A and block B/A being such that the proportion of the hard phase in the entire block copolymer is 1 to 40 vol %, and the proportion by weight of the diene is under 50 wt.%. The relative proportion of 1,2 bonds of the polydiene in relation to the sum of 1,2 and 1,4 cis/trans-bonds is under 15 %, process for their production by anionic polymerisation by means of lithium alkyl in a nonpolar solvent in the presence of a soluble potassium salt and their use for the production of mouldings.

Abstract: Procedimiento para la obtención de poliestireno, de copolímeros bloque de estireno-butadieno o de poliestireno resistente al impacto mediante la polimerización o mediante la copolimerización aniónica, continua, de monómeros de estireno o de dieno con alquilos o arilos de los metales alcalinos A, como iniciadores de la polimerización, caracterizado porque se lleva a cabo la polimerización en presencia de un alquilo o de un arilo metálico B de la fórmula R2nM2 como regulador de la velocidad, en la que M2: significa un elemento n-valente del grupo 2a o 2b del Sistema Periódico de los elementos o significa aluminio, y R2: significan, independientemente entre sí, hidrógeno, halógeno, alquilo con 1 a 20 átomos de carbono o arilo con 6 a 20 átomos de carbono, con la condición de que, al menos, un resto R2 signifique alquilo con 1 a 20 átomos de carbono o arilo con 6 a 20 átomos de carbono, y empleándose como disolvente el tolueno, el ciclohexano, el metilciclohexano, el hexano, el heptano, el etilbenceno o la decalina y siendo la concentración inicial en monómeros del 50 % en peso como mínimo.
