Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for operating the oil pump of a plug-in hybrid vehicle are provided to control the driving of a motor by setting the duty value of pulse width modulation(PWM) signals according to the target RPM of the motor and the signals of a hole sensor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(10) for operating the oil pump of a plug-in hybrid vehicle includes a motor driving unit(42), a hole sensor(44), a CAN transceiver(60), a central processing unit(30), and a power supplying part(20). The power supplying part supplies power to the central processing unit and the motor driving unit. The motor driving unit includes a gate driver and a motor driving part. The gate driver receives PWM signals. The motor driving part is in connection with the gate driver. The motor driving part distributes electric currents applied to a motor according to the PWM signals to drive the motor. 상기와 같은 전압배가기 회로를 이용하는 것에 의해, 출력단에서 부하에 따른 출력전압의 강하현상을 감소시켜 정상상태의 직류구동전압을 출력하는데 소요되는 시간을 단축하고, 안정적인 전압레벨의 출력전압을 출력할 수 있다.

Abstract: A fuel pump motor driving apparatus is provided to improve durability of elements by applying a P-channel MOSFET to a high side of a three-phase full bridge circuit and an N-channel MOSFET to a low side of the three-phase full bridge circuit. A fuel pump motor driving apparatus comprises a control unit, a motor controller(43), and a motor driving unit(41). The control unit receives speed data of a fuel pump motor(30) from an ECU(25), compares the received speed data with present speed data of the motor, and outputs increased or decreased speed data. The motor controller mixes a motor switching signal for rotating the motor and speed data output from the control unit, and outputs a driving control signal. The motor driving unit rotates the motor by switching power applied from a power unit(20) in accordance with the driving control signal output from the motor controller.
