    Abstract: The disclosure is of 5-hydroxypyrazol-4-yl-carbonyl-substituted saccharin derivatives of formula (I), in which the substituents have the following meanings: L,M stand for hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkylthio, chlorine, cyano, methylsulphonyl, nitro or trifluoromethyl; Z stands for hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl, C3-C6-alkenyl, C3-C5-alkinyl, C1-C4 acyl, benzyl or phenyl (the phenyl rings optionally being each substituted by a halogen or C1-C4 alkyl); Q stands for a CO-J group; J stands for a 5-hydroxypyrazol ring linked at position 4 and of formula (II), in which R represents C1-C4 alkyl, and R represents hydrogen or methyl. Also disclosed are the salts of formula (I) compounds commonly used in agriculture.
