Abstract:
A powered operator (2) for sliding plug doors mounted on a movable carriage mounted overhead of an opening (5) in the side wall of a transit vehicle, said doors including a single electric prime mover driving dual helical drives, each operating a door hanger (8,14) attached to a single door panel (9,15) over and away from said opening (5) and for moving said carriage out of said side wall pocket. Door hangers (8,14) used provide controlled deflection of door panels (9,15) when in a fully open position. Drive linkages lock door panels (9,15) when in a plugged position. The operator also provides guidance for the lower edge of said door panels (9,15) during plugging and unplugging operations. Control elements and a central controller provides sequential door panel (9,15) movement into and out of a pocket in the transit car side wall.
Abstract:
Swivel-sliding door system for a vehicle, having a door leaf situated in the vehicle wall in the closed state, and situated on the outside in front of the vehicle wall in the open state, and having drive means, transverse guide means and longitudinal guide means which make possible a swivel-sliding movement of the door leaf. The longitudinal guide means comprise a bearing rail which extends over the width of the door opening and which is coupled to drive members which can cause the bearing wheel to execute a movement transversely to the vehicle wall (3). The bearing rail is provided with a first set of rollers (62, 63) which run in the bearing rail and which are mounted on a coupling member (65) which is provided with a second set of rollers (66, 67) which are situated in a lower position and which interact with a door rail (6) attached to the top of a door leaf (1, 2). However the drive means comprise a drive lever driven by the housing of a motor and lead screws which are driven by the spindle of the motor and which support nut members coupled to the door leaves. The motor is mounted on a mounting plate whose bottom supports, moreover, a guide rail and roller guide members. The roller guide members interact with roller supports which are linked to the bearing rail and which are actuated by the drive lever. The spindle of the drive lever also actuates a lowermost swivel arm, coupled to the door leaf, via a vertical rod.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A swinging-sliding door module (101..105) for a rail vehicle is provided, said swinging-sliding door module comprising a door leaf (21, 22) and a rotatably mounted rotary pillar (71, 72) coupled to the door leaf (21, 22). Furthermore, the swinging-sliding door module (101..105) comprises a support (3) which is oriented longitudinally in the sliding direction of the door leaf (21, 22) and is mounted so as to be displaceable transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent thereof in the horizontal direction in relation to the rotary pillar (71, 72) and in which the door leaf (21, 22) is mounted displaceably. A first over-centre locking (41, 42) brings about the deployment movement of the support (3). Furthermore, the coupling between rotary pillar (71, 72) and door leaf (21, 22) comprises a second over-centre locking (81, 82) which acts in the deployment direction of the door leaf (21, 22).
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mechanism for closing and opening a swinging-sliding door leaf (1), comprising a fixed horizontal guide (4), over which a carriage (5) slides, and a groove-cam (6) which is almost entirely rectilinear, except in at least one of its ends in which it forms a curvilinear portion (6a) towards one of the sides of the door and over which a wheel (9) supported in the door leaf slides, the mechanism comprising a push-pull connecting rod (10), fixed in articulated manner to the carriage (5) and to the door leaf (1), the first point of articulation (11) with the door leaf of which remains during the closing of the door in front of the imaginary line (100) transverse to the guide (4) passing through its second point of articulation (12) with the carriage (5); whereas when the carriage (5) reaches the end of its path, due to the effect of the curvilinear portion (6a) of the groove, the connecting rod is forced to rotate until its first point of articulation (11) is located behind the mentioned imaginary line (100).
