Abstract:
In a composite component having a laminate body, a conductive layer and a connector can be joined to one another using an intermediate flexible circuit. Among other things, this flexible circuit places the conductive layer and the connector in electrical communication with one another. Furthermore, during the forming process and because of its thinness, the flexible circuit integrates well with the layers of the laminate body and can accommodates some spatial displacement of the connector and conductive material relative to one another.

Abstract:
A wire connecting device for connecting a fiber-core conductor configured by stranding a plurality of fiber-core conductive wires. The wire connecting device includes a vis having a rod-shape pin and a head extending outwardly from the pin. A plate-shape terminal connects with the vis by inserting the pin in an opening. The head matches up with an overlap portion of the terminal so that the fiber-core conductor is clamped between the head and the overlap portion of the terminal connect electrically the fiber-core conductor and the terminal. The conductor passes over and contacts an end portion of the pin. The pin and the inner surface of the opening are curved surfaces to eliminate sharp corners.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric and/or electronic circuit including a printed circuit board (20), at least one separate circuit board (10) and at least one power connector (12) for said printed circuit board (20). The at least one power connector (12) is connected or connectable to a corresponding counterpart. A number of electric and/or electronic components (22) is sold at the separate circuit board (10). The at least one separate circuit board (10) is connected to the printed circuit board (20) by a number of solder joints (16). The solder joints (16) are connected to the separate circuit board (10) by a through-hole-technology. The solder joints (16) are connected to the printed circuit board (20) by SMD (surface mount device) technology. At least one power connector (12) is fastened at the separate circuit board (10) by the through-hole-technology.
Abstract:
A connecting member such as a terminal base (10) is used, which allows a printed circuit board unit in which circuit elements such as a power module (3) are mounted on a printed circuit board (2) to be rated at higher current as compared to a conventional printed circuit board unit; and therefore an increase in size of the unit can be reduced or prevented with a simple configuration of connection sections. The connecting member (10) of an electrical circuit connects the circuit element (3) of the electrical circuit including the printed circuit board (2), to an electrical wire (8). The connecting member (10) includes a terminal connecting section (11) to be directly connected to terminal pins (3a) of the circuit element (3); a wire connecting section (12) to be connected to the electrical wire (8); and attachment sections (14) for attaching the connecting member to the printed circuit board (2).
Abstract:
A connector comprises a generally cylindrical dielectric body with a central bore in the dielectric body. The dielectric body has a first end and second end opposite the first end. Conductors extend axially through the cylindrical dielectric body and are spaced apart from each other in a generally circular or elliptical arrangement. Each conductor comprises an embedded portion in the dielectric body and mating portions extending from the first end and the second end.
