    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a surface tension-controlled microfluidic device which moves the fluid only through natural flowing due to the capillary attraction in a controlled manner, and is effectively used in bio chips requiring micro and precise flow control. The first fluid moves to the sensor chamber due to the capillary attraction to make the primary biochemical reaction, and after a predetermined time passes by, the second fluid flows into the sensor chamber due to the capillary attraction to replace the first fluid while making the secondary biochemical reaction.
