Abstract: PURPOSE: A directional speaker module and a mobile terminal including the same are provided to overcome sound quality related problems by applying a separate speaker packaging structure to the speaker module. CONSTITUTION: Two speaker packaging parts(210, 220) contain a speaker(130a). The speaker packaging pars are vertically arranged in a body part(230). A stopper(234) is protruded from the inner side of the body part. A hole(236) is formed at the lateral side of the body part and functions as the signal input terminal of the speakers. Abstract: PURPOSE: A piezoelectric speaker and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize distortion of sound by preventing a stationary wave, caused by structural symmetry, from occurring. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric thin film(110) converts an electric signal into a physical vibration signal. An upper electrode and a lower electrode are formed in an upper part and a lower part of the piezoelectric thin film. A damping layer is formed in a lower part of the piezoelectric thin film. An acoustic diaphragm(170) and the piezoelectric thin film have a slope structure. A frame(190) fixes the acoustic diaphragm by using a high elastic adhesive material(180). The damping layer is formed as a thin film with a regular thickness including a material with a low viscosity and a high elasticity. The damping layer prevents distortion of the sound caused by thickness deviation of a piezoelectric speaker membrane.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A baby care robot and a control method thereof are provided to allow a protector to monitor a baby while doing a task by keeping the baby within the visual field of the protector. Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for tracking a face at a long distance are provided to accurately detect and track a far-distanced very small face at a low resolution in order to prevent the wrong detection which tracks a non-facial portion. CONSTITUTION: An image input unit(110) generates continuous image frames by inputting a video image, and a face tracking initializing unit(130) detects an omega region and a facial region of a human from the image frames. The face tracking initializing unit sets the estimated facial region as tracking start region information. Abstract: 본 발명은 양손 검출 및 추적 방법에 관한 것으로서, 영상으로부터 사람의 신체구조를 통해 어깨, 팔꿈치 및 손을 포함하는 양측 팔을 모델링하는 과정과, 모델링으로부터 양측 손을 검출하는 과정과, 그리고 영상과 이전 영상을 비교하여 팔꿈치와 손을 잇는 양측 직선의 기울기 및 기울기 변화량과 사람의 팔이 갖는 행동 제한 반경(팔은 바깥으로 굽지 않고, 팔의 길이는 일정 길이 이상 늘어나지 않고, 팔꿈치를 기준으로 팔을 굽힐 수 있는 점)을 이용하여 양측 손의 위치를 추적할 수 있다. 또한, KLT(Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi) 특징 정보를 회귀 분석하여 기울기 값으로 압축하여 표현하여 다량의 특징 정보 추출로 인한 계산 복잡도 증가 없이 겹침이 있는 물체의 움직임을 실시간 추출하여 추적할 수 있으므로 이동 물체 추출 및 추적 기술을 실세계에 적용할 수 있다.
