Abstract:
A composition for preventing and treating neutodegenerative disease, which contains a polyphenol compound as an active ingredient is provided to have the effects of beta-amyloid coagulation inhibition, caspase-3 activity suppression and acetylcholinesterase activation suppression. A composition for preventing and treating neurodegenerative diseases comprises salvianolic acid, bakuchiol, epsilon-viniferin, rhapontigenin, piceatannol, luteolin, myricetin, or their mixture as an active ingredient. The neurodegenerative diseases are Alzheimer's disease, Pick's disease, Creutzfeldt-jakob, Parkinson's disease, Lou Gehrig's Disease, or Huntington's disease. The composition suppresses BACE-1[beta-site APP(amyloid precursor protein)-cleaving enzyme 1], caspase or acetylcholine esterase. The composition further comprises medicinal herb. The medicinal herb is Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix, Psoraleae Semen, Vitidis Fructus, Rhei Rhizoma, Digitalis Folium, Schizonepeta Herba, Taraxaci Herba, Humuli Herba, Lonicerae Folium or their mixture.

본 발명은 둥굴레속( Polygonatum ) 식물 또는 그 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 유해조류 및 개구리밥 방제 조성물 및 이를 이용한 방제방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 둥굴레속 식물 또는 그 추출물은 유익한 조류나 수생생물에는 무해하면서, 남조류 및 적조류 등의 유해조류에만 선택적으로 우수한 방제효능을 나타내고, 다른 방제활성을 가진 화합물들과 상가적 효과를 나타내므로, 이를 함유하는 방제 조성물은 자연친화적이면서 효능이 우수한 유해조류 방제제로서 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

PURPOSE: Provided are a novel Pythium myriotylum strain, a pathogen of plants, and a method for the biological control of weeds using same, thereby effectively and selectively removing weeds from a rice field. CONSTITUTION: The novel strain, Pythium myriotylum MD2(KCTC 10034BP) is used for selectively controlling weeds selected from American black cherry, Monochoria vaginalis, yellow birtch, Chondostereum purpureum, Northern joint vetch, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides f. sp. aeschynomene, Morrenia odorata, Phyrophthora palmivora, Poa annua, Pseudomonas gladioli, etc.

The present invention relates to a therapeutic use of novel thieno[3,2-b]pyridinyl urea derivatives and U-II receptor activity related diseases thereof. The thieno[3,2-b]pyridinyl urea derivatives, according to the present invention, acts as an antagonist for the U-II receptor, thus can be used for preventing or treating the U-II receptor activity diseases such as congestive heart failure, cardiac ischemia, myocardial infarction, cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis, coronary heart disease, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, renal failure, diabetes, vascular inflammation, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, pain, depression, psychosis, and cancer.

PURPOSE: A soil metagenome-derived novel esterase gene is provided to ensure enzyme activity stability and to use in developing an agent which controls plant bacterial diseases. CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide having esterase activity comprises: a polypeptide encoded by polynucleotide of sequence number 1; a polypeptide encoded by a polynucleotide which is hybridized with the polynucleotide of sequence number 1; and a polypeptide with an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A method for preparing a recombinant esterase comprises: a step of preparing a recombinant expression vector containing the polynueotide; a step of preparing a transformant by introducing a recombinant expression vector to host cells; and a step of culturing the transformant to induce recombinant protein expression.

The mulberry leaf materials is produced by separating the mulberry leaf extract with dichloromethane.
