Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric water pump is provided to secure an insulation state of a motor steadily because water leak through a mechanical seal does not flow into a motor chamber. CONSTITUTION: An electric water pump comprises a pump body(5), a bearing(9), a mechanical seal(11), a bearing guide(13), an anti-flooding plate(15), a discharge hole for leachate(17), and a vapor exhaust hole(19). The pump body comprises a motor chamber(1) and a pump chamber(3). The bearing supports a rotary shaft of a motor extended to the pump chamber from the motor chamber in the pump body. The mechanical seal is installed between the rotary shaft of the motor and the pump body. The mechanical seal blocks a space between the motor chamber and pump chamber. The bearing guide is fixed to the rotary shaft of the motor between the bearing and the mechanical seal. The anti-flooding plate is overlapped with the bearing guide in a vertical direction to the rotary shaft of the motor. The discharge hole for the leachate and the vapor exhaust hole are formed in the pump body and connected to the space between the mechanical seal and the anti- flooding plate.

The LMO coating is conducted by dipping the beta phase NiAl metal interconnector in LMO coating solution, drying the coating layer in an oven at 50 to 80 deg.C, followed by cooling, and thermal treating the product at 800 deg.C to obtain LMO layer.
