    Abstract: PURPOSE: A towing hook for a vehicle is provided to prevent the towing hook from being contacted to the road surface during traveling on the uneven road, and to lengthen a life span by protruding the towing hook in the front of the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A towing hook(10) of a vehicle is composed of a towing rope fitting member(11) made of a steel rod to hold tension of a towing rope and bent to fix the towing rope, and a vehicle body assembling member(12) placed between both ends of the towing rope fitting member and fixed by welding. A threaded part(12a) is formed around the vehicle body assembling member. The towing hook is installed in the front of a front side member(5) with inserting the threaded part of the vehicle body assembling member to a screw hole(20a). A reinforcing bracket(20) is mounted in the front side member, and the towing hook is protruded in the front of the vehicle body. Breakage is prevented, and the life span is lengthened with restricting the towing hook from being contacted to the road surface during traveling on the uneven road.

The variable unit is composed of a driving gear(11) and two driven gears(21,22), and the hollow of the driven gear is thread-connected to the outer periphery of the variable torsion bar. The variable torsion bars slide along the torsion bar with rotating two driven gears in rotating the driving gear, and move opposite to each other with forming the thread in one driven gear opposite to the other tread in the other driven gear.
