Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust gas post-treatment method and a system thereof are provided to precisely control amount of the hydrocarbon flowing in as a SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction). CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas post-treatment method comprises next steps. Set discharging amount of the hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide is selected according to a driving condition of an engine(S220). A temperature difference between the front and rear sides of a SCR(S230). An actual inflow amount of the hydrocarbon into the SCR is calculated by using the temperature difference and a set efficiency value of SCR(S260). The actual inflow amount of the hydrocarbon and the set discharging amount of the nitrogen oxide are under than the set value, the inflow amount of the hydrocarbon into the SCR is increased by using a post-spraying. The actual inflow amount of the hydrocarbon and the set discharging amount of the nitrogen oxide are under than the set value, the post-spraying is not performed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for protecting an emission reduction line of a diesel vehicle is provided to prevent a diesel smoke filter from being burn out by controlling the regeneration of the diesel smoke filter. CONSTITUTION: A device for protecting an emission reduction line of a diesel vehicle comprises an oxidation catalyst(51), a diesel smoke filter(53), a thermocouple(52), and a controller. The oxidation catalyst is installed in an exhaust manifold of an engine and purifies hydrocarbon in exhaust gas. The diesel smoke filter is installed in the bottom side of the oxidation catalyst and collects particulates with soot. The diesel smoke filter is installed in the downstream side of the oxidation catalyst. The thermocouple is installed in the rear end of the oxidation catalyst and measures the temperature of the rear end of the oxidation catalyst. The controller estimates the temperature of the oxidation catalyst and calculates a temperature difference between the front and rear ends of the oxidation catalyst.

The content of the platinum in the total weight of the catalyst is between 0.1 and 10 weight%. One H_2-temperature programmed reduction peak of the catalyst is in a range between 400 and 800 degrees Celsius. A method for manufacturing the catalyst includes the following: A platinum precursor and a neodymium precursor are mixed in an aqueous solution. The mixture is carried in silica. The silica-carried mixture is plasticized at a temperature between 300 and 600 degrees Celsius. In the plasticizing process, a platinum-neodymium alloy is formed and the alloy is fixed to the silica.
