The present invention relates to a temperature control method of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) for a vehicle capable of easily regenerating soot by effectively controlling the regeneration temperature of a DPF. The temperature control method of a DPF for a vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a process of measuring the calorific value of a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC); a process of obtaining a cooling rate correction value according to outdoor temperatures; a process of calculating and estimating a cooling rate using the cooling rate correction value; a process of calculating a post-injection fuel amount correction value by converting the cooling rate; and a process of adding the post-injection fuel amount correction value to a post-injection fuel amount according to the calorific value of the DOC.

CONSTITUTION: A NOx storage - reducing catalyst comprises 1 ~ 5 weight% of transition metal selected from platinum, cobalt and manganese, 2 ~ 30 weight% of a Ba-K-Ce storage component, and 65 ~ 95 weight% of alumina. The Ba-K-Ce 3-componet storage component comprises 0.025 ~ 0.35 : 0.2 ~ 0.95 : 0.025 ~ 0.45 weight ratio of Ba, K Ce and BET non-surface area of the alumina is 50 m/g ~ 300 m/g.

A ruthenium and potassium contained nitric oxide storage and reduction catalyst is characterized by dipping precious metals of 0.1 ~ 3 weight% as active components about an alumina(Al2O3) support. The precious metals are ruthenium of 0.1 ~ 10 weight%, potassium of 5 ~ 30 weight%, platinum, palladium, and rhodium. An alumina carrier includes a BET specific surface area of 50 ~ 350 m / g range.

A secondary air introduction device of a catalyst post treatment device is provided to save fuel required to raise the temperature by making the reproduction condition of a smoke filter identical to the reproduction condition of nitrogen oxide catalyst. A secondary air introduction device includes a turbo charger(10), a sub pipe(20), a control valve(30), an injector(40), and a control system(50). The turbo charger braches air from an engine. The sub pipe delivers the air into a pipe(9) having catalyst used to remove nitrogen oxide and a filter(7) used to filtering smoke. The control valve is installed in the sub pipe to adjust the flow rate of the air. The injector is installed at the terminal end of the sub pipe connected to the pipe to inject the air. The control system adjusts the control valve and the injector.

PURPOSE: A diesel oxidation catalyst with high removal efficiency to hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide without micropore-blocking due to adsorption of micro particulate pollutants is provided. The diesel oxidation catalyst of the present invention can minimize sulfate generation by pulverizing TiO2 washcoat material, which has excellent anti-poisoning property against sulfur, and then coating it on uppermost layer of diesel oxidation catalyst support. CONSTITUTION: The fabrication method of the present diesel oxidation catalyst includes a first washcoating material preparation step in which 100 parts by weight of alumina powder is impregnated with 0.5-2 part by weight of novel metal catalyst such as Pt and Pd and 5-10 parts by weight of one or more cocatalysts selected from V, Co, Ni, Cr, Mo, Fe, Cu and Nb wherein the alumina powder has specific surface area of higher than 200m¬2/g and its average pore size is less than 200nm; a second washcoating material preparation step in which nitrate-based or alkoxide-based titania precursor is dropped in aqueous basic solution wherein 5-20 parts by weight of V2O5 is further added in titania precursor, based on 100 parts by weight of TiO2, and TiO2 has specific surface area of less than 50m¬2/g and its average pore size is 5-20μm; adding dispersing agent in the first washcoating material; applying the first washcoating material on support, followed by drying; applying the second washcoating material thereon; and heat-treating at 450-550deg.C after drying.

The support includes alkali metal and aluminum or alkali earth metal and aluminum. The nitrogen oxide absorbing element is alkali metal, alkali earth metal, or rear earth elements.
