Abstract: PURPOSE: A variable oil pump for vehicle is provided to increase the suction flow rate and improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicle by removing or minimizing intake resistances when drawing in a large amount of oil through an inlet. CONSTITUTION: A variable oil pump for vehicle includes a pump housing(1), a housing cover which is coupled to the pump housing. The variable oil pump for vehicle includes an inlet(8), an outlet(9), a housing flow passage(20) which is formed in a part connected to the inlet in the pump housing to extent an oil suction path, and a cover flow passage which is formed in a position opposed to the housing flow passage in the housing cover to extend the oil suction path. The housing flow passage and the cover flow passage are formed in the same shape. The housing flow passage includes a main chamber(21) which is formed by indenting the internal surface of a spring chamber(6) in which a pressure control spring is installed and a support chamber(22) which is formed by indenting the inner surface of the pump housing into an arc shape along the rotational radius around an axial hole(13) formed in the pump housing and connected to the main chamber.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A variable oil pump for vehicles is provided to prevent the detachment of a vane caused by a slip and the pressure unbalance of each vane by forming an oil layer between the vane and a vane mounting hole. CONSTITUTION: A variable oil pump for vehicles comprises a housing(110), a cam ring(120), a rotor(130), and an eccentric member(140). The cam ring is installed inside the housing, and shaken with a pivot pin(121). The rotor is eccentrically placed inside the cam ring. A plurality of vanes(133) moving in a radial direction is inserted through vane mounting holes(134) of the rotor. First and second suction chambers are placed at the side of the pivot pin and the opposite side in between an inner surface of the cam ring and an outer surface of the rotor. The eccentric member eccentrically displaces the cam ring to a position capable of maximizing volumes of the first and second suction chamber. When the variable oil pump is in an invariable state, one side of a vane closed to the second suction chamber is formed with being separated from a driving shaft(131).
