Abstract:
A computer system displays an alert at a first position relative to the three- dimensional environment, the alert at least partially overlapping a first object in a first view. The first position has a respective spatial relationship to the user. The computer system detects movement of the user from a first viewpoint to a second viewpoint. At the second viewpoint, the computer system, in accordance with a determination that the alert is a first type of alert, displays the alert at a second position in the three-dimensional environment, the second position having the respective spatial relationship to the user and in accordance with a determination that the alert is a second type of alert, displays the three-dimensional environment from the second viewpoint without displaying the alert with the respective spatial relationship to the user.
Abstract:
A computer system detects a wrist, and in accordance with a determination that first criteria are met, the computer system displays a plurality of representations corresponding to different applications in a first region. The computer system detects a first input at a first location on the wrist that meets predetermined selection criteria. In accordance with a determination that the first location corresponds to a first portion of the wrist and that at least a portion of a palm is facing toward a viewpoint, the computer system causes a display generation component to display a user interface of the first application. In accordance with a determination that the first location corresponds to the second portion of the wrist and that at least a portion of the palm is facing toward the viewpoint, the computer system causes the display generation component to display a user interface of the second application.
Abstract:
While an electronic device with a display is in a reduced notification mode, the device receives one or more communications. After receiving the one or more communications, the device detects an alert condition for the reduced notification mode. In response to detecting the alert condition for the reduced notification mode, the device displays a first user interface that includes a first affordance which, when activated, causes deactivation of the reduced notification mode of the electronic device. In response to detecting a first input that activates the first affordance, the device deactivates the reduced notification mode, and displays a second user interface. The second user interface does not display content from any one of the one or more communications. While the second user interface is displayed, in response to detecting a second input, the device displays notifications that include content for at least some of the one or more communications.
Abstract:
In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at an electronic device with a display, a touch-sensitive surface, and one or more sensors for detecting intensities of contacts on the touch-sensitive surface. The device concurrently displays, on the display: a background user interface; and a first version of a notification associated with a first application, wherein: the first version of the notification has a first size, the first version of the notification includes first content, and the first version of the notification is overlaid on the background user interface. While displaying the first version of the notification associated with the first application overlaid on the background user interface, the device detects a first portion of a first input that includes detecting a first contact at a location on the touch-sensitive surface that corresponds to the first version of the notification. In response to detecting the first portion of the first input: in accordance with a determination that the first portion of the first input meets application-launching criteria, wherein the application launching criteria do not require that a characteristic intensity of the first contact on the touch-sensitive surface meet a preview intensity threshold in order for the application launching criteria to be met, the device initiates a process to launch the first application, wherein launching the first application includes ceasing to display the background user interface and displaying a user interface associated with the first application; and, in accordance with a determination that the first portion of the first input meets notification expansion criteria, wherein the notification-expansion criteria require that the characteristic intensity of the first contact on the touch-sensitive surface meet the preview intensity threshold in order for the notification-expansion criteria to be met, the device displays a second version of the notification, wherein: the second version of the notification has a second size larger than the first size, the second version of the notification includes expanded notification content that is not displayed in the first version of the notification, and the second version of the notification is overlaid on the background user interface.
Abstract:
At an electronic device with a display, a microphone, and an input device: while the display is on, receiving user input via the input device, the user input meeting a predetermined condition; in accordance with receiving the user input meeting the predetermined condition, sampling audio input received via the microphone; determining whether the audio input comprises a spoken trigger; and in accordance with a determination that audio input comprises the spoken trigger, triggering a virtual assistant session.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a touch-sensitive display can obtain a plurality of alerts associated with dates and times. The device can detect a user input, and in response to the input display a notification interface. The notification interface can include a future notification representing a future alert with a date and time after the current date and time, and a past notification representing a past alert with a date and time before the current date and time. The future and past notifications can be separated by a graphical separator that has an indication of the current time. The future and past alerts correspond to different installed applications.
Abstract:
A computer system displays a first and second user interface object in a three- dimensional environment. The first and second user interface objects have a first and second spatial relationship to a first and second anchor position corresponding to a location of a user's hand in a physical environment, respectively. While displaying the first and second user interface objects in the three-dimensional environment, the computer system detects movement of the user's hand in the physical environment, corresponding to a translational movement and a rotational movement of the user's hand relative to a viewpoint, and in response, translates the first and second user interface objects relative to the viewpoint in accordance with the translational movement of the user's hand, and rotates the first user interface object relative to the viewpoint in accordance with the rotational movement of the user's hand without rotating the second user interface object.
Abstract:
An electronic device: displays a field of view of a camera at a first magnification and updates the displayed field of view over time based on changes detected by the camera. The field of view includes a view of a three-dimensional space. In response to a first touch input, the device adds a measurement point at a first location in the displayed field of view that corresponds to a first location in the three-dimensional space. As the camera moves, the device displays the measurement point at a location in the displayed field of view that corresponds to the first location in the three-dimensional space. In response to a second touch input corresponding to a current location of the measurement point in the displayed field of view, the device enlarges display of the displayed field of view around the measurement point from the first magnification to a second, greater magnification.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a display, a touch-sensitive surface, and one or more sensors to detect intensity of contacts with the touch-sensitive surface: displays a first user interface of a first software application, the first user interface including a plurality of user interface objects, a first user interface object of the plurality of user interface objects being associated with an application-independent set of predefined instructions for preview operations; detects a first portion of an input by a contact while a focus selector is over the first user interface object, in the plurality of user interface objects, on the display; and in response to detecting the first portion of the input and in accordance with a determination that the first portion of the input satisfies predefined criteria, executes the application-independent set of predefined instructions for preview operations.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes instructions for receiving a first communication; in response to receiving the first communication, generating a first notification for the first communication received at the device, the first notification including content of the first communication; receiving a second communication at the device; and in response to receiving the second communication: determining whether the second communication and the first communication are received from the same sender. The instructions include, in accordance with a determination that the second communication and the first communication are from the same sender, updating the first notification such that the updated first notification concurrently includes the content of the first communication and the second communication; and in accordance with a determination that the second communication and the first communication are not from the same sender, generating a second notification, for concurrent display with the first notification.
