    Abstract: Indolenine methine dyes of formula (I), i.e. 4- (3,3 -dimethyl indolenine)-5- (3-cyano- 4-trifluoro methyl- tetrahydro pyridin-2,6- dione)- dimethine merocyanine derivative.
