Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject dispersant which has a good storage stability and is used for forming a thermally stable bond by formulating a specific polyurethane and an amino-functional group-bearing macromolecular compound. SOLUTION: This dispersant contains (A) a mixture of (i) a polyurethane bearing a group which makes the polyurethane dispersible in water and a C-C double bond which is activated by the directly bonding carbonyl group, (ii) a polyurethane which makes the polyurethane dispersible in water, but does not bear the group bearing a C-C double bond activated by the directly bonding carbonyl group and (B) a compound which bears at least two of hydrogen bonds in the from of an amino functional group, has a solubility of >=1g/l (at 25 deg.C) and a number-average molecular weight (Mn ) of 200-1,000,000. Thus, a dispersant useful as a coating or an adhesive is obtained.
