    Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a mixture containing a surfactant and a cosurfactant in the form of an aqueous solution for flooding underground hydrocarbon fields in order to mobilise and extract hydrocarbons therefrom, wherein the cosurfactant is embodied in the form of a substance or the group of substances selected from an amphiphilic comb polymer comprising a backbone which is provided with two or more side chains which differ from each other and/or from the backbone in terms of the amphiphilic character thereof, the amphiphilic polymer comprises one or several hydrophobic sub-groups [A2] based on a polyisobutene block, wherein at least 50 Mol % of polyisobutene macromolecules have terminal double bonds and one or several hydrophobic sub-groups [A2] or an amphiphilic polymer of a general structural formula (I).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to amphiphilic polymer compositions, to a process for their preparation and to their use for preparing aqueous active compound compositions of water-insoluble active compounds, in particular active compounds for crop protection. The amphiphilic polymer compositions can be obtained by reacting a) at least one hydrophobic polymer P1 which carries functional groups R1 which are reactive toward isocyanate groups and which is constructed of ethylenically unsaturated monomers M1, comprising: a1) at least 10% by weight, based on the total amount of monomers M1, of monomers M1a of the formula I  in which X is oxygen or a group N—R4; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are as defined in the claims and the description; a2) up to 90% by weight, based on the total amount of monomers M1, of neutral monoethylenically unsaturated monomers M1b whose solubility in water at 25° C. is less than 50 g/l and which are different from the monomers M1a; and a3) up to 30% by weight, based on the total amount of monomers M1, of ethylenically unsaturated monomers M1c which are different from the monomers M1a and M1b, b) at least one hydrophilic polymer P2 which carries functional groups R2 which are reactive toward isocyanate groups, c) with at least one compound V which contains isocyanate groups and, with respect to the isocyanate groups, has a functionality of at least 1.5.

    Abstract: An acylated polyamine polymers (I) are new. New acylated polyamine polymers (I) comprise acyl groups of formulas -CO-R (i) or -CO-R (ii) on some of the nitrogen atoms of the polyamine (I). R = 7-27C alkyl, 7-27C alkenyl or 7-27C hydroxyalkyl; and R = H, 1-6C alkyl or 1-6C hydroxyalkyl. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the preparation of (I) by reacting a polyamine with at least one carboxylic acid of formula R -COOH and at least one carboxylic acid of formula R -COOH or their esters, anhydrides or halogenated derivatives; (2) the preparation of (I) by cationic ring opening polymerization of: (a) at least one 4,5-dihydro-oxazole and/or 5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-oxazine, both substituted with R on position 2; and (b) at least one 4,5-dihydro-oxazole and/or 5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-oxazine, both substituted with R on position 2; and (c) optionally at least one other comonomer; (3) an aqueous composition comprising at least one acylated polyamine (I); (4) a method for increasing the viscosity of a composition containing surfactants by adding (I).
