Abstract:
The present invention relates to glycin-N,N-carboxylic acid derivatives of formula (I) in which R is an organic radical comprising from 3 to 30 carbon atoms and containing at least one carbonyl group in its main chain; G and G represent independently C1-C3 alkylene; x and y are 1 or 2; and M is hydrogen, an alkaline metal, an alkaline-earth metal, ammonium or substituted ammonium. The compounds of formula (I) can be used as components having surfactant and complex-building properties in textile detergent formulations.
Abstract:
Inorganic per compounds may be activated with oxime carbonates of the formula (I), A-O-CO-OR3, a hydroximide ester of formula (II):or polymeric hydroximide esters.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for isolating methylglycinenitrile-N,N-diacetonitrile (MGDN) from an aqueous emulsion which comprises MGDN and has an MGDN content of 3-50% by weight in a crystallizer, comprising the steps: (a) the aqueous emulsion is, starting from a temperature above the solidification point, cooled to a temperature below the solidification point, the cooling rate averaged over time not exceeding 5 K/h, until substantially the entirety of the emulsified MGDN has solidified, (b) the resulting aqueous suspension is cooled further and/or concentrated, and the cooling rate may be greater than in step (a).

Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing N-phosphono-methylglycine by reacting a hexahydrotriazine compound with a triacyl phosphite in an organic solvent, hydrolyzing the resulting phosphono compound after prior extraction into an aqueous phase and separation from the organic phase. The process avoids decomposition of the organic solvent during hydrolysis.
