Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrict abnormal vibration of the refrigerant gas even if the refrigerant gas is left under the condition possible to generate abnormal vibration by forming a connecting pipe for connecting a suction chamber of a cylinder head and a suction muffler with at least more than two connecting pipes having different length. CONSTITUTION:A suction muffler 35, which is housed in a sealed container with an electric power element and a compressing element, is communicated with a suction chamber 40 through a connecting pipe 37. In this case, the connecting pipe 37 consists of three connecting passages 37a-37c having different length and cross-sectional area, and one end of each connecting passage 37a-37c is opened in a small space 38 inside of the suction muffler 35 at different positions from each other in the axial direction. Even if one of the connecting passages 37a-37c has a natural frequency mode inappropriate for the flow of the refrigerant gas under the some condition and has a danger to generate abnormal vibration of the refrigerant gas, since at least one connecting passage of others has the other natural frequency mode, abnormal vibration of the refrigerant gas is restricted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a liquid refrigerant from being collected in the lower part of lubricating oil as well as to eliminate the occurrence of any abnormal noise by installing a pan in a part of a compression element, while installing a hole, adjoining this pan, in the bottom of a suction muffler leading to a suction tube. CONSTITUTION:In the inner part of a hermetically sealed vessel 50, a compression element 51 is housed in the lower part and a motor element 52 in the upper part, respectively. In addition, an unillustrated suction tube interconnecting the inside and outside is looked to this hermetically sealed vessel 50. Moreover, the compression element 51 consists of a cylinder head 53, an interconnecting pipe 54 and a suction muffler 55 or the like. In this case, a pan 3 is installed in a part of the compression element 51, while a hole 1, adjoining this pan 3, is installed in a bottom part of the suction muffler 55. Then, a liquid refrigerant 2 collected in this suction muffler 55 is led into the pan 3 from this hole 1. With this constitution, such a possibility that the liquid refrigerant 2 might be collected in the lower part of lubricating oil in the hermetically sealed vessel 50 is kept back, thus the occurrence of any abnormal noise is eliminated.

CONSTITUTION:The refrigerant gas discharged to a discharge chamber 55a is discharged to a discharge muffler 57 through a communicating hole 56. The refrigerant gas discharged to the discharge muffler 57 is discharged to a discharge muffler 1 through a communicating pipe 2 and filled in the discharge muffler 1. The refrigerant gas of the discharge muffler 57 is thereafter guided to a discharge pipe 58 through a discharge line 59. The refrigerant gas discharged to the discharge chamber 55 is immediately discharged to the discharge muffler 57 and discharge muffler 1 through the communicating hole 56, thus the over-compression can be prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A groove part 10 is formed onto the inner wall of a sealed container 1 so that the oil which drops after cooling the cylinderhead 9 of a compressor mechanism part 2 is received. Plural stages of said groove parts are arranged in the vertical direction, and the width of the groove part 10 is made wider in the lower part. The oil accumulated into the upper groove part 10 successively overflows, and flows into the lower groove part, cooled during the flow on the inner wall of the sealed container 1.

SOLUTION: The entire bottom face of the sealed vessel is made spherical, and only snub bar mounting parts on the side wall are circularly extruded in a vertical direction to project, so that the entire bottom face can be made spherical with the overall height of the sealed vessel remaining unchanged, thus increasing the rigidity of the bottom face. Consequently, the noise is reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce closing delay of a delivery lead valve, by making easy separating of the delivery lead valve from the contact surface of a stopper by forming a groove in a contact surface between the stopper and the delivery lead valve. SOLUTION: A plurality of grooves 16 which cross each other are formed on a contact surface between a stopper 15 and a delivery lead valve 10 using a die of a die-cast. In a compressing process, the stopper 15 presses the delivery lead valve 10, and the delivery lead valve is adhered on the stopper 15 through a lubricating oil on their contact surface. A refrigerant gas in a delivery chamber enters crossed grooves 16, therefore, an oil film of the lubricating oil for adhesion is broken, the oil film on the contact surface is easy to be cut, the delivery lead valve 10 separates from the stopper 15, and a delivery hole 17 is sealed. Thus, closing delay of a delivery lead valve 10 is reduced, the period when a high-pressure refrigerant gas in the delivery chamber flows back into a cylinder is decreased, and decrease of volume efficiency can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce coolant gas volume leaking from a clearance in a cylinder bore by loosely-fitting a tetrafluoroethylene resin piston ring into a groove which is provided at the outer periphery of a piston freely. CONSTITUTION:A piston 20 which is made of aluminum material and reciprocates inside a cylinder bore 17a with the rotation of a crank shaft 8 through a connecting rod 9 is provided with a groove 20a equipped with two pairs of piston rings 21 made of material whose main element is tetrafluoroethylene resin on its outer periphery. The piston ring 21 is guided to the groove 20a in a clearance between the piston 20 and the cylinder bore 17a so that the piston 20 may not be brought into contact with the cylinder bore 17a during moving. Moreover, a diametrical clearance between the piston and the cylinder bore is set at 1/100-1/300 time as wide as the diameter of the piston. Therefore, it is possible to obtain stable cooling performance even when leaking loss increases due to pressure ratio increase at the time of replacing coolant CFC12, which is generally used, with HFC134a.
