Abstract: PURPOSE:To excellently display the kind of an input, the state of equipment to be controlled, etc., by generating pseudo vertical pulses of vertical frequency by dividing the frequency of the output signal of a horizontal oscillator when only an audio signal is inputted, and supplying those pseudo vertical pulses to a vertical oscillator as a synchronous input. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 36 generates control signals for controlling a video input selector 1 and an audio input selector 2, a control signal for a sound volume and tone adjusting circuit 33, and a control signal and a display signal for a character generator 6. When the absence of a video input is detected, a switch circuit 19 is turned on with a control signal generated by the microprocessor 36 to supply the pseudo vertical pulses to a vertical synchronous separating circuit 14 and the vertical oscillator 15 outputs a signal of nearly standard vertical frequency. Therefore, the image lane of a cathode-ray tube 15 never expand vertically and horizontal deflection and horizontal deflection has correlation, so the image plane is prevented from waving.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To change printing information and to automatically vary time data to be printed, by printing with a printing means on the basis of printing data from a printing data memory device and time data from a clock circuit. CONSTITUTION:A host computer is connected to a control circuit 1 through an interface 7. Data, such as a date, time, secret code, personal name, and post name, and printing data, such as character font data relating to these data, are supplied via the control circuit 1 and written in a ROM 8. When a push-button of a keyboard 9 is pressed, the control circuit 1 decodes the key input and reads necessary printing data from the ROM 8. The control circuit 1 supplies the data to be printed to a head 2 through a head drive circuit 4. With use of this device, printing information can be changed and time data to be printed can be automatically varied. Therefore, the need for changing a date every day become unnecessary, and a post name, a personal name, etc., can be easily changed.

Then every time the operator depresses a button, the new controlled system is selected and the name of the controlled system selected at present is blinked. For example, while the 'lightness' is selected as a controlled system, when a down-button or an up-button is depressed, a microcomputer generates a control signal in response to the operating state and controls a video processing circuit.

The adjustment of picture quality such as the existence of colors, the density of colors and brightness and the adjustment of sound volume can be executed by the commander. When a function selecting button 48 is depressed, a picture indicating items to be adjusted is displayed and a display indicating an adjusting item is flashed. In each depression of the button 48, the order of a flashing item is successively changed to move an adjusting item.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To recognize a slight change of control quantity, by providing a horizontal display region containing different colors at right and left sides to a picture receiving screen, showing the size and the margin of the control quantity by the lengths of the left and right sides of said display region and furthermore by providing a slit to the display region. CONSTITUTION:The output signals of AND circuits 29 and 30 are impressed to a proper one of red, green and blue video output circuits via a color designating circuit 37 which is controlled by color designating signals Dvol and Dbri, etc. of a control IC. Then a display region of a color corresponding to the control subject is formed on the screen of a TV receiver. Thus it is possible to show the size and the margin of control quantity by the lengths of one side and the other side respectively. At the same time, a slit is formed at the display region by a slit forming signal producing circuit 33. Thus it is possible to observe the boundary position between two parts of different colors of the display region in comparison with the slit. Therefore the delicate position of the boundary can be known, and it is possible to know a slight change of the control quantity.

The audio signals are supplied to the source switching circuit 80 and the audio signals selected in the circuit 80 are supplied to an audio output circuit 60 through a tone quality and sound volume control circuit 59. At this time, the supply of the power source to the circuit of video system is stopped in case of reproducing only audio signals.
