Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate positioning of an imaged imaging medium, by inclining a scanning direction substantially by a ratio of a scanning speed of a scanning means with respect to a rotary shaft of the medium to a circumferential speed of a surface of the medium wound on a mount. SOLUTION: An imaging medium 10 is inclined by a ratio of a scanning speed of an energy beam emitting unit in an axial direction to a circumferential speed of the medium 10 wound on a plate cylinder 11, and mounted on the cylinder 1. And, an imaging head 12 is fixed onto a ball screw unit 14 inclined by a ratio of the scanning speed of the emitting unit in the axial direction to a circumferential speed of the mount wound with the medium 10 and moved. An interval between the head 12 and the medium 10 is regulated to condense the beam to a surface of the medium 10. An output of a beam emission source is regulated based on a value of a laser power detector 17.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multilayer circuit board which can be mounted in high density by a method wherein blind via holes and/or through holes are formed from the outermost wiring layer to the other wiring layer. SOLUTION: Photoresist 16 is applied to both surfaces of a laminated body, and the photoresist is dried up. A YAG fundamental wavelength laser beam 17, which is narrowed to the prescribed range, is directed to both sides of the laminated body, and blind via holes 18 are formed using the wiring layer in the laminated body as a stopper. As a result, a high density wiring can be formed by a process shorter than the connection utilizing a bump and at less restriction on the rule of wiring design. Also, when the electrical connection between the wirings of a multilayer circuit board is performed by metal connection, the connection of low resistance can be accomplished in a highly reliable manner.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To make a high-density wiring possible by a method wherein two sheets of flexible substrates are formed in such a way that the total of the heights of projections or pads on the substrate on one side of the substrates, which, are butted to each other at the time of a laminating of the substrates, is longer than the total of the heights of wiring patterned conductors formed on the laminated surfaces of the two substrates. CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of flexible substrates are formed in such a way that the total of the heights of projections or pads on the substrate on one side of the substrates, which are butted to each other at the time of a laminating of the substrates, is longer than the total of the heights of wiring patterned conductors formed on the laminated surfaces of the two substrates which are laminated together. The two sheets of the obtained flexible substrates are shown in diagrams (k) and (0). An anisotropic conductive film 11 is superposed on the flexible substrate on one side of these flexible substrates, the film 11 is temporarily pressure bonded to the substrate by a bonding tool, then, a protective film on the film 11 is peeled off. The projections or the pads, which correspond to each other, of the two sheets of the flexible substrates are aligned with each other and the film 11 is finally pressure bonded to the flexible substrate on one side by the bonding tool to obtain a multilayer flexible board having four layers of wirings.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a coating liquid from running off even in a long-time drive, by a method wherein, a coating device consists of a film member and members holding the film member in unflexible states, an ink guiding-side front edge at the tip end of the film member is formed to be bent with a radius of 20 mum or less. CONSTITUTION:A doctor blade 18 consists of a sheet member 181 to be pressed down against the peripheral surface of an application roller 12 at the tip end thereof and upper and lower holding members 182, 183 holding the sheet member 181 in substantially unflexible states tangentially to the peripheral surface of the application roller 12. An ink guiding-side front edge at the tip end of the sheet member 181 is formed to be curved with a radius of curvature (r) of 20 mum or less. The setting of the radius of curvature (r) to be 20 mum or less enables a coating liquid to be prevented from running off from the doctor blade 18 even in a long-time drive.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect the residual amount of an ink with a stable accuracy and facilitate cleaning of an ink unit, by detecting the residual amount of the ink in a non-contact manner, and inputting an output signal corresponding to the residual amount to a discriminating circuit to discriminate the residual amount of the ink. CONSTITUTION:When a sufficient amount of an ink 6 is present, the light projected from a light-projecting part of a sensor 8 is reflected from the surface of the ink to a light-receiving part of the sensor 8, where it is detected. On the other hand, as the amount of the ink is reduced, the direction of reflection from the surface of the ink is varied, and the quantity of the light received by the sensor 8 is gradually reduced. When the amount of the ink is reduced to or below a predetermined value, a detection signal is outputted from a comparing circuit 10, and an alarm sound is generated. Since the sensor 8 is fitted on the side of a main body of a printing press, an ink unit 2 can be easily cleaned. In addition, since the sensor is of a non-contact type, it does not affect the distribution of the ink in an ink-reserving space 5.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the leak of ink while ensuring the excellent transfer of ink onto the surface of a plate by a construction wherein the front ends of end portion sealing plates fitted to the end portions of a doctor blade are made to contact oppositely with the outer peripheral edge portion of an elastic inking roller in the state wherein the end faces of the inking roller are held in pressure contact by pressure plates except for the outer peripheral edge portion thereof. CONSTITUTION:At the opposite ends of an inking roller 710, the area except the outer peripheral edge portion of the end face 710f of the roller is held in pressure contact by a pressure plate 763 fixed to a roller shaft 710a, respectively. A doctor blade 714 is held rotatably around bearing holes 760 by a construction wherein pivot bearings 746 are made to engage with bearing holes 760 provided in the upper portions of the outer side surfaces of end portion sealing plates 759 fitted to the opposite ends of the doctor blade respectively. By this constitution, an ink reserving space 747 enclosed by the blade 714, the roller 710 and the end portion sealing plates 759 is formed. The amount of pressure of the blade 714 on the roller 710 can be adjusted by controlling the amount of rotation of an eccentric roller 715 being eccentric to a rotation driving shaft 750.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To automatically detect a block winding error at block supplying time by providing detecting means for detecting the erroneous winding by detecting the rotating position of a block tail grasping member after a printing block is completely mounted. CONSTITUTION:A block grasping and displacement detecting mechanism consisting of a mark member 375 and a photoelectric sensor 376 is provided at the left side of a plate cylinder 3. According to this mechanism, when the block tail is normally held by a block tail hook, the sensor 276 does not detect the member 375 and the sensor 376 detects the member 375 only when displacing the block or failing to grasp the block tail. Accordingly, the erroneous winding of the block such as the block displacement or the erroneous grasp of the block can be automatically detected on the basis of the output of the sensor 376.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable automatic paper insertion to be easily performed without requiring difficult control, by feeding a continuous paper at a velocity lower than the circumferential velocity of a transfer cylinder when inserting the paper through a gap between the transfer roller and a restricting member. CONSTITUTION:While an impression cylinder 11 is reset to a position apart from a blanket cylinder, a pin feed tractor 13 starts paper feeding at a low velocity of, for example, 1/4 of the velocity at the time of printing. Since the paper feeding velocity at the time of inserting the continuous paper 12 is extremely low, the paper 12 is struck in the moving direction thereof by the blanket cylinder 2 and the impression cylinder 11 when passing through the gap while making contact with the cylinder 11 under its own weight to be fed toward a suction conveyor 14. Accordingly, automatic paper insertion can be easily performed without any difficult control and without crushing the end of the continuous paper 12 even when a paper-discharging roller 206 is provided.
