Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string which satisfies the sense of hitting and durability that is high in balance, even while being low cost. SOLUTION: The string is composed by using a multifilament composed of polyamide or polyester, whose tire profile obtained from the ratio (a/b) of the long axis length (a) and short axis length (b) of a single-yarn cross section is 1.5-7, single-yarn size is 2-20 dtex, strength is 5-10 cN/dtex and elongation is 12-30% at least as a part of core yarn. For the string for a racket, the core yarn is composed by doubling at least two or more multifilaments. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dyed product obtained by efficiently uniting characteristics of a dry feeling, firmness and stiffness and dimensional stability which a polyester fiber possesses and a soft feeling, pliability, dyeing developability, hygroscopicity and resin processability which a polyamide fiber possesses and carrying out a clear solid dyeing of the both fibers and good in washfastness or a dyed product obtained by using the polyester fiber and the polyamide fiber prepared by carrying out a multicolor dyeing to a grain pattern, a melange pattern or an iridescent pattern. SOLUTION: This dyed product is produced by dyeing a fiber structure obtained by using a blended yarn of the polyester fiber and the polyamide fiber with at least a disperse dye and a reactive dye. The blended yarn has three styles of a structure formed by mainly arranging the polyester fiber at the inside thereof and the polyamide fiber at the surface thereof, a structure formed by reversely arranging the fibers thereto and a structure formed by making both the polyester fiber and the polyamide fiber appear on the surface.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aliphatic polyester fiber- including fiber structure that can be subjected to a alkali denier reduction treatment in order to improve the soft fabric hand and the drapery without deterioration of dyed color fastness, while the deep-coloring properties and clear chromogenic properties intrinsic to aliphatic polyester fibers are maintained. SOLUTION: This method for producing the aliphatic polyester fiber-including fiber structure is characterized by subjecting the alkali denier reduction treatment after dyeing.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a dyed textile product comprising both polyester- and polyamide-based fibers, having adequate color density and good in color fastness as well, and to obtain such a textile dyed product by the above method. SOLUTION: This method for producing a textile product dyed is characterized by comprising dyeing a textile structural material comprising both polyester and polyamide fibers with a dyeing liquid containing respectively at least one kind of at least azo-based disperse dye and reactive dye and then subjecting the textile structural material thus dyed to reductive washing at pH 2-10. The other version of this method for producing a textile dyed product is characterized by comprising dyeing a textile structural material comprising both polyester and polyamide fibers with a dyeing liquid containing respectively at least one kind of at least quinone-based disperse dye and reactive dye and then subjecting the textile structural material thus dyed to reductive washing at pH 5-13.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce polyester fabric that is soft and flexible and retains the swelling, elastic, tensive and warm feelings, thereby having the quite new fabric hand by thinning the polyester fibers and simultaneously allowing the fibers to shrink at a prescribed amount based on the weight before thinning. SOLUTION: At the same time when a polyester fabric is thinned by the pad-steaming process or by the pad-drying process, the fabric is allowed to shrink by 1-30% based on the weight before the thinning to obtain the objective polyester fabric. This polyester fabric undergoes the process before the alkali thinning treatment at the lower temperature than that of the alkali thinning. In a preferred embodiment, the fabric is subjected to dry-heat treatment at a lowered temperature before the alkali thinning treatment and the shrinkage from the gray fabric to the alkali thinning treatment is caused at the scouring step by 0-90%, further at dry-heating process by 0-90%. The thinning process is preferably carried out by using an alkali-thinning treatment solution including a thickening agent.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a uniform polylactic acid fiber good in mechanical properties, highly uniform in fiber fineness and seldom causing dyeing defects including dyeing unevenness. SOLUTION: This method for producing a polylactic acid fiber comprises the following process: a highly oriented undrawn yarn of polylactic acid with L-lactic acid and/or D-lactic acid as the main recurring unit(s), having a birefrigence Δn of 0.008-0.020, is drawn by a factor of 1.1-2.5 between a feed roller rotating at a given rate and a draw roller rotating at a higher rate than the feed roller, and then heat-seat by a heat treatment means situated downstream of the feed roller; wherein the temperature T1 ( deg.C) of the feed roller and the temperature T2 ( deg.C) of the heat treatment means are characterized by meeting the relationship (1): 70
