    Abstract: Immunochemicals having an amino group are immobilized by covalent bonding on fine particles having an average diameter of 0.03 to 10 mu m, the fine particles comprising a polymer having the repeating unit of glycidyl acrylate or glycidyl methacrylate and the fine particles not having on the surface thereof a hydrophobic component other than the above unit, whereby there are obtained immunoparticles effective as a diagnostic reagent for immunological tests for detecting or measuring a component in human or animal body fluids or for labeling cells.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject column capable of performing extracorporeal circulation of blood and improving enteritis by using a polymyxin immobilized carrier. SOLUTION: This column for enteritis is obtained by using a polymyxin immobilized carrier. Preferably, the carrier is a fibrous carrier and its component is a polymer such as a (crosslinked) polystyrene fiber or an acrylic acid.acrylonitrile copolymer fiber and preferably is a sea-island fiber reinforced with the island component. Preferably, a surface area of the carrier is 0.1-100 m2/g. An amount of an immobilized antibiotic substance, polymyxin is pref. >=1 mg/g carrier, further pref. 6-20 mg/g carrier. The column is obtained by mixing the carrier with the polymyxin, and further adding a peptide condensing agent, or the like. By the process, sufficient treatment of inflammable intestinal diseases such as colitis ulcerosa or Crohn's disease can be expected.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled fine particles, prepared by joining a complementary component to particles obtained by immobilizing an immunoglobulin, e.g. derived from a man, in fine particles of an organic high polymer by the complementary bonds, regarded as useful for immunological functional tests, etc., easily preparable and storable for a long term. CONSTITUTION:A human or animal complementary component is joined to particles, containing immobilized immunoglobulin, and prepared by immobilizing a human or animal immunoglobulin G or immunoglobulin M in fine particles of an organic high polymer, e.g. polystyrene having introduced carboxyl groups, etc. as functional groups with chemical bonds, by complementary bonds to give the aimed fine particles. The complement is usable for a test, diagnosis, etc. by determining the proportion of the B lymphatic corpsucles from the proportion of cells having the complementary receptor, but the fine particles, joined to the complement, and consisting of the organic high polymer have the mechanical strength and improved storage stability without causing hemolysis, and provides easy observation of the rosette formation without causing the nonspecific adsorption on the lymphatic corpuscles.
