Abstract: Method for producing an interlaced multifilament yarn by rubbing and scratching a material multifilament yarn with a rotary rough surface member and with such intensity that individual filaments constituting the filament yarn are not substantially broken, the rotary surface member having projections which are smaller than the cross-sectional diameter of the individual filaments of the material yarn; diffusing a jetted fluid which is jetted in the yarn running direction along a predetermined yarn passage from a jetting aperture of a supply conduit through a nozzle formed with a rectifying and diffusing portion having a substantially uniform cross-section, and impinging the diffused jetted fluid against the running material multifilament yarn so that the individual filaments of the multifilament yarn mostly vibrate in a direction substantially parallel to a plane defined by the yarn running direction and the fluid jetting direction, the vibration taking place in a section of the yarn passage facing the rectifying and diffusing portion.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fibers having improved yarn strength, antifibrillation property and color fastness of dyed materials, by spinning a modified polyester prepared by copolymerizing isophthalic acid containing a metallic sulfonate group and a high-molecular weight glycol under specific conditions, and drawing the resultant fibers. CONSTITUTION:4.0-7.0wt% isophthalic acid component, e.g. 5-sodium dimethyl sulfoisophthalate, having a metallic sulfonate group is copolymerized with 0.6- 6.0wt% glycol, e.g. polyethylene glycol, having 400-6,000mol. weight to give a modified polyester having 67-88 polymerization degree, which is then spun through a spinneret at sec shear rate (gamma), =40kg/cm spinneret back pressure (P) and dynes/cm shear stress (tau) and then drawn to give the aimed fibers.

Abstract: PURPOSE:A melted polyester containing silica particles which have a specific or less value of primary particle sizes, and of coarse particle number of silica particles is filtered with a specific filtration layer and spun to produce extremely fine fibers of polyester without troubles such as reduction in yarn spinnability or increase in filtration pressure. CONSTITUTION:Melted polyester contaning silica fine particles of less than 100mmu size on the average and having less than 300/g or coarse particles is filtered and spun into a yarn of less than 3.5 denier filament thickness. The filtration is effected using a sand of more than 100 mesh satisfying the equation: the amount of sand W>=0.6(cm /g polyester/min) and the thickness of the sand layer L>=4(mm.) and/or a metallic nonwoven filter with an absolute filtration diameter of less than 30mu. These filtes develop large coarse particle dispersion a and filtration effects.

Abstract: PURPOSE:Titled fiber produced by using a specific polyester copolymer as the readily-soluble component and another polymer containing a block polyether-amide composition by treating with an alkaline solution for splitting, thus giving soft- touch fabrics because of their extremely fine denier. CONSTITUTION:Conjugate fibers are produced by using (A) a polyester containing 3 or more, preferably 4 or more, mol% of ethylene 5-sodiumsulfoisophthalate and 80 or more mol% of ethylene terephthalate in the total structural units and (B) a composition consisting of (a) a thermoplastic synthetic polymer, preferably containing 80 or more mol% of epsilon-caprolactam, and (b) a block polyether-amide composition where the component b is 0.05-5wt% in the composition B so that the component B is made splittable into plural sections with the polymer A. When split, the component B becomes preferably less than 1.5 denier fibers and the ratio of A/B is preferably 30/70-5/95.

Abstract: PURPOSE:Title sheath-core type conjugate fiber in which a blocked polyetheramids composition is localized in the fiber, thus having high durability and antistatic property as well as whiteness, heat resistance, weathering resistance and dye fastness to light comparable to usual polyester. CONSTITUTION:Title conjugate fiber consists of (A) a mixture of a block polyetheramide composition such as a block polyetheramide containing organic electrolytes, phenolic antioxidant and polyester in which the content of the polyalkylene ether is 0.10-5wt% in the total fiber as the core part and (B) a copolyester containing 1-7mol% of sodium 3,5-dicarboxybenzenesulfonate as the sheath component. the proportion of the core part is preferably 5-50wt%.

Abstract: PURPOSE:Title fiber that is composed of a mixture of block polyether amide composition and polyester as the core part and of a polyester as the sheath part, thus being frosting-free and showing high heat resistance, duration and antistatic property. CONSTITUTION:The conjugate spinning is carried out using (A) a mixture of (a) block polyether amide composition and (b) a polyester as the core part and (B) another polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate as the sheath part wherein the proportion of the polyalkylene ether in component a is adjusted to 0.05-5wt% based on the total fiber. The core part and sheath part is annularly arranged and the ratio of the core part is preferably made to 5-50%. An example of component A is obtained by adding an organic electrolyte such as dodecylbenzene-sulfonic acid and phenolic antioxidant to a copolymer from polyalkylene ether diamine, dicarboxylic acid and polyamide monomer.
