Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the attachment of the generated dust material such as abrasion powder to a substrate, even under the high vacuum state and to make the device simple and to make the setting space small further, by guiding the relay cable of a substrate heating heater by a suspending unit for a cable guide roll. SOLUTION: In the inside of the U-shaped part of a relay cable 29, a cable- guide unit 33, which moves and guides the relay cable 29 in the lifting and lowering directions of a substrate when a substrate/heater holding unit is lifted and lowered, is provided. The cable guide unit 33 comprises a cable-guide roller 34, a lifting pulley 38, a connecting shaft 39 and an attaching metal tool 40. Then, the cable-guide unit 33 is engaged with a guide bearing 37 of a linear guide unit 35 for guiding in the lifting and lowering directions. The lifting pulley 38 is in a state so that the pulley is suspended from a lifting unit 17. In this way, when electric power is supplied to a heater for heating the substrate, the cable is not cut out and the stable operation is possible for a long period.

CONSTITUTION:A precursor fiber T is threaded through a fluidized layer 4 in a state folded with turning rollers 12a-12c and 13a-13c. At least one of the spaces between the thread guides of the precursor fiber in the fluidized layer is provided with a porous material 31. The bubbles of the oxidizing gas in the fluidized layer is divided by the porous material. The pore size of the porous material is selected to enable the passage of the particles 30 of thermal medium.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable desired printing to be performed over the entire surface in the width direction of a continuous paper, by providing a suction conveyor and a blowing means on the outlet side of a printing position in the state of being opposed to each other through a continuous paper feeding passage therebetween. CONSTITUTION:The suction conveyor 14 is so constructed that a suction can be switched at three stages and the suction width can be varied according to the paper width. The blowing means consisting of a paper-pressing fan 30 for blowing air toward the upper surface of the conveyor 14 is dsposed above the conveyor 14 along the longitudinal direction of the latter so as to prevent the continuous paper 12 from being levitated from the upper surface of the conveyor 14 at the time of paper feeding. With this arrangement, the printed continuous paper adhered to a transfer cylinder in printing can be easily released from the transfer cylinder without requiring a releasing means such as a paper- discharging roller. In addition, the production run of desired picture elements such as a form can be easily conducted over the entire surface in the width direction of the continuous paper with a simple construction.

By this method, no wastefulness is generated in the operation of the taking-up parts or the traverse part and the taking-up rate of operation can be extremely enhanced.

CONSTITUTION:A doctor blade 18 consists of a sheet member 181 to be pressed down against the peripheral surface of an application roller 12 at the tip end thereof and upper and lower holding members 182, 183 holding the sheet member 181 in substantially unflexible states tangentially to the peripheral surface of the application roller 12. An ink guiding-side front edge at the tip end of the sheet member 181 is formed to be curved with a radius of curvature (r) of 20 mum or less. The setting of the radius of curvature (r) to be 20 mum or less enables a coating liquid to be prevented from running off from the doctor blade 18 even in a long-time drive.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively hold the tail of a printing block wound on a plate cylinder by engaging block tail hook arranged in the hole of the cylinder within the tail hole of the block, and pulling to press the hook substantially tangentially of the outer periphery of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a plate cylinder 3 continuously rotates so that a link 359 rotates clockwise by the tension of a spring 363, a link 319 is disengaged from a pin 362, a block tail hook 317 rotates counterclockwise by the tension of the spring. Accordingly, when a new block 50 is supplied, the hook 317 rotates counterclockwise in the state that its tail 50c is intruded into the hole 307 of the cylinder 3 by a block retainer roller 525,the hook 317 is thus engaged with its tail hole 50b, and the tail 50c is pulled substantially tangentially of the outer periphery of the cylinder to be held. Thus, even if the cylinder has strong rigidity, the tail of the block wound on the cylinder can be effectively held.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable automatic paper insertion to be easily performed without requiring difficult control, by feeding a continuous paper at a velocity lower than the circumferential velocity of a transfer cylinder when inserting the paper through a gap between the transfer roller and a restricting member. CONSTITUTION:While an impression cylinder 11 is reset to a position apart from a blanket cylinder, a pin feed tractor 13 starts paper feeding at a low velocity of, for example, 1/4 of the velocity at the time of printing. Since the paper feeding velocity at the time of inserting the continuous paper 12 is extremely low, the paper 12 is struck in the moving direction thereof by the blanket cylinder 2 and the impression cylinder 11 when passing through the gap while making contact with the cylinder 11 under its own weight to be fed toward a suction conveyor 14. Accordingly, automatic paper insertion can be easily performed without any difficult control and without crushing the end of the continuous paper 12 even when a paper-discharging roller 206 is provided.
