Abstract: PURPOSE: To increase durability by a method wherein a plurality of leaf and stem sections are formed in a bundle shape and projected from a base material sheet while sand-stop sheets are laminated on the rear of the base material sheet, the leaf and stem sections are filled with sand, and the projecting length, leaf-stem density, etc., of the leaf and stem sections are specified. CONSTITUTION: An artificial lawn, in which the intermediate sections of leaf- stem bundles 2 are bulged while front end sections 1 are melted and rounded and molten balls are fused mutually, is used. The leaf-stem bundles 2 are projected from a base material sheet 3 by 10-30mm. The density of the leaf-stem bundles 2 is set in 4-10 pieces/m , and nose fused sections are set in 50% or more of leaf-stem density. A sand-stop sheet consisting of a cloth-like article of at least 30g/m is laminated on the rear of the sheet 3, thus preventing the outflow and sedimentation of filled sand. The artificial lawn is made water permeable as a whole. Accordingly, the withering of leaves and stems can be prevented, and the outflow and scattering of filled sand can be obviated, and appearance can be maintained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve performance by providing a three-dimensional confounding body sheet having specified diameter, void and METSUKE (weight/unit area) of a linear body, and interposing and laminating this sheet between an artificial lawn and a base. CONSTITUTION:A three-dimensional confounding body sheet 1 consisting of a linear body having a diameter of 0.1-1mm, a void of 85-99%, and a METSUKE of 200-2000g/m . The sheet 1 is bonded to the back surface of an artificial lawn 4 through an adhesive 5, and then this is laid on a base plate 7 without adhesion. When the lawn 4 having a cushion material adhered to the back surface is used, the sheet 1 is adhered onto the base plate 7, and the lawn 4 is laid thereon without adhesion. Thus, at the time of sudden stop motion in sport, slipping and cushion properties can be provided to prevent injuries of an ankle and a joint, and it can be easily constructed, peeled and reused.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an injury by a method wherein hydrophilic pile yarns formed of synthetic fibers or natural fibers having a specified equilibrium moisture content are mixed by planted together with a leaf-form pile system. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophilic pile system 6 formed of synthetic fibers or natural fibers having an equilibrium moisture content of 6% or more at 20 deg.C and 65% RH is provided. Leaf-form piles 5 and pile yarns 6 are woven in a mixed manner and mounting is effected such that an artificial lawn 1 where the height of the pile 6 is decreased to a value lower than that of the pile 5 is adhered to a bed base material 2. The equilibrium moisture content of the artificial lawn is set to 40g/m or more at 20 deg.C and 65% RH. During use, the end part of each pile 5 is rounded and the pile yarns 6 are concealed, the moisture is protected, and the law is hard to dry. Further, the artificial lawn forms a sand- containing lawn, and the equilibrium moisture content may be set to 100g/m at 20 deg.C and 65% RH. This constitution prevents the occurrence of scratch and burn even when an athlete or player slips and tumbles.
