Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable any defect of a sheet-shaped object to be detected with high precision by obtaining the sum of the intensity of transparent dispersion light and the intensity of reflection dispersion light in an area under checking in which the light of the sheet-shaped object with its tissue structure has been radiated. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-shaped object 1 is reeled from a raw fabric via a carrying roll 7, traveled at a speed of 24m per minute, and measured by means of a camera 2 while winding the object on a winding roll via a roll 8 through a wrinkle removing device 5 provided in a space between carrying rolls 7 and 8 and while illuminating the object by means of a line-shaped light source 3 and a directional light source 4 simultaneously. And, type, size, etc., of a defect are checked, what is wrong in the previous process is judged, and the manufacture process of the object 1 is regulated. In addition, a required coefficient is multiplied according to the severity, etc., of a defect, the points of defects are assumed, the points of defects present in its specified length are added, and grading of the object 1 can be performed. Thus, the sum of the transparent dispersion light and reflection dispersion light is measured, therefore, even for the sheet-shaped object, fault check is made possible with high sensitivity and high precision.

SOLUTION: The sensor for detecting a liquid body comprises a first optical fiber having a light emitting end 4 set to a leading end or to the vicinity of the leading end, and a second optical fiber having an incidence face 5 for receiving the light emitted from the first optical fiber set to a leading end or to the vicinity of the leading end. An FRP structural material is manufactured with the use of the detection method, and the FRP structural material is provided.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely judge a period even if a dispersion of defect position or detection miss is caused by a specified algorithm for performing a calculation by use of the data of the scanning directional MD position and lateral TD position of a detected defect and providing a basic period to determine the multiple. SOLUTION: In a main computer 41, a detected defect is sorted in TD position, and its defect number is stored in a two-dimensional buffer. The continued parts of TD are taken out and grouped to determine a typical TD position. The difference in MD position of adjacent defects of one group is calculated, and the same differential values are collected to one. Those having differential values having a small integral multiple are collected as basic period, and those of a large value are collected as integral multiple period. Low basic periods such as half period in MD space, if present, are collected. It is judged whether the individual defect is the defect corresponding to the basic period or not, and the number within the period defect is calculated. Further, when defect groups are present in a plurality of TD positions, they are successively taken out by one group, and this operation is repeated. The judgment result by the above procedure is outputted to a book.

SOLUTION: The device for manufacturing a yarn package includes a yarn winding means for winding a yarn around a bobbin; a tail bunch forming means which regulates traversing-in of the yarn wound around the bobbin; and a means for controlling the tail bunch, which is formed when the yarn is shifted from a full bobbin to another empty bobbin, to the desired number of turns, starting from the time when the yarn is captured in a slit or a yarn capturing part.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep tensile force causing no wrinkle and flapping between a drive roll and each conveyance roll so as to reciprocate and convey a sheet stably. SOLUTION: A drive roll 30 having a forward and reverse rotation function is provided between an unwinding mechanism 11 and a winding mechanism 12, and conveyance rolls 20, 40 are provided between the unwinding mechanism 11 and the drive roll 30 and between the winding mechanism 12 and the drive roll 30. The conveyance roll on a winding side is used as a drive roll, and the conveyance roll on an unwinding side is used as a follow-up roll to reciprocate and convey a sheet in both forward and reverse directions. Moreover, the conveyance rolls can be switched to drive or follow-up side depending on the direction of advance of the sheet, and they are driven when they are on the winding side and they become follow-up rolls when they are on the unwinding side.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection sensitivity and accuracy by using a light reception means including a photoconductor with a reflection means at a non-light- reception surface side and a photoconductor with a rough face part at least at one portion of a surface. SOLUTION: The detection device of the defect of the surface or inside of a sheet 1 such as a plastic film is composed by equipping a reflection means such as an aluminum deposition film 24 in a photoconductor 21 for receiving diffusion light (b) being generated by a defect 5 caused by laser beams or the like from a light source part. Then, for example, while the sheet 1 is being run by a take-up roll, scanning is made in a specific direction by light beams (a) from a laser light source. The diffusion light (b) from the defect 5 entering the photoconductor 21 is detected by a photomultiplier or the like while repeating reflection or the like, but the leakage of the scattered light (b) is reduced by the aluminum deposition film 24 at the non-light-reception surface side for improving light reception efficiency. Even if at least one portion of the surface of the photoconductor 21 is set to a rough face part with a specific roughness, surface reflection can be suppressed, thus obtaining the same effect.
