    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the one control of air-tightness without requiring a conventional side block by providing a cylinder head, which can be fitted to both open ends of a cylinder and which flows the gas to be compressed/the compressed gas into/out from a compression chamber formed by a rotor, a vane and the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Since cylinder heads 2, 3 are directly provided in the open ends of a rotor 4, when a driving shaft 9 is rotated, the rotor 4 and a vane 11 provided in the rotor 4 are rotated, and at the time of suction process, the gas to be compressed is supplied to a compression chamber 12 through the cylinder head 2, and at the time of compression process, the compressed gas is flowed out from the compression chamber 12 to the cylinder head 3. A cylinder head to be used at this stage has a part, which is equivalent to a conventional side block, and a compressor is finished by incorporating this cylinder block to a cylinder 1, in which the rotor 4 and the vane 11 are housed. Consequently, seal material is not necessary to facilitate the control of air-tightness.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the horsepower consumption of a vane type compressor at the high rotation time of a rotor while maintaining refrigerant inlet efficiency at the low rotation time of the rotor so as to prevent the horsepower lowering of an engine and thereby to heighten the high speed performance of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The inlet port 15 of a rear side block 4 is formed of an oblong groove 20 of a compression chamber 12 side end face, and a round hole 21 communicated with the inlet starting end part of the oblong groove 20. At the high rotation time of a rotor 2, refrigerant gas from an inlet chamber 11 is thereby changed suddenly in its flow direction at the time of flowing into the oblong groove 20 from the round hole 21 of the inlet port 15, so that inlet efficiency is lowered in large degree, and the horsepower consumption of a vane type compressor is lowered in large degree. At the low rotation time of the rotor 2, the flow of refrigerant gas is slow, so that high inlet efficiency can be maintained being hardly influenced by the special shape of the inlet port 15.

The end plate 30 surface-contacts with the end face of an aluminum front-side block facing the rotor, while the end plate 31 surface-contacts with the end face of an aluminum rear-side block facing the rotor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leak of a refrigerant by reducing airtight positions and prevent the burning of a rotor without applying a surface treatment to a side block. SOLUTION: This vane compressor is provided with a cam ring 1, a front head 5 fixed to the front side end face 1a of the cam ring 1, and a rear head 6 fixed to the rear side end face 1b of the cam ring 1 to close the rear side opening of the cam ring 1 and to be kept in contact with the rear side end face 2b of a rotor 2. A front side block 3 is stored in the front head 5 to close the front side opening of the cam ring 1 and to be kept in contact with the front side end face 2a of the rotor 2. The front side block 3 is made of an iron material. Only the cam ring 1, front head 5 and rear head 6 are exposed to the outside space, the number of compressor components exposed to the outside space is reduced than the conventional example, and the seal positions between the components are reduced. Since the front side block 3 is made of the iron material, its sliding characteristic is good, and the burning of the end face of the rotor 2 can be prevented while no surface treatment is applied.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and improve sealing performance by simplifying the shape of a sealing element. SOLUTION: In this compressor, the communication between pressure control chambers 45, 46 and suction chamber 11 is controlled in response to the suction pressure Ps of the suction chamber 11 so that pistons 42, 43 are driven in linear motion in response to the controlled pressure Pc, and the linear motion of the pistons 42, 43 is converted to the rotational motion of a rotor plate 50 by means of a cam surfaces 55, 56. When cam surfaces 55, 56 are relatively slidden by the displacement of the pistons 42, 43 to rotate the rotor plate 50, thus rotor plate 50 is rotated from a partially acting position to a wholly action position. As sealing elements are mounted merely onto pistons 42, 43 eliminating the necessity of being mounted onto the rotor plate 50, O-rings 53, 54 with a simple structure as the sealing element can be used.

In addition, the cross sectional area of the restricted path 68 is made smaller than that of the low pressure communicating path 70, and the area of one end surface of the pilot piston 60 is made larger than that of the other end surface of the main piston 32.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make variable the cross sectional area of an intake passage and properly restrain capacity at a high-speed operation by applying the constitution that an energizing member to energize a movable valve toward the prescribed direction is formed to be capable of contracting so as to move the movable valve for the expansion of a flow passage area, when a coolant gas flowrate reaches the first preset value. SOLUTION: When a rotor 2 is rotated via a rotating shaft 7 on the operation of an engine, a fluid drawn via an intake chamber 11 is boosted and discharged from a delivery port 5a via a delivery chamber 10. In this case, when the flowrate of coolant gas flowing out from an evaporator exceeds the prescribed value, the movable valve 31 of an intake device 30 is pushed downward against the force of an energizing member 32 made of a coil spring. As a result the opening area of an intake passage 22 is kept maximum. and the coolant gas enters the intake chamber 11 via an intake port 6a. When the flowrate of the coolant gas further increases at a high-speed operation, the movable value 31 is pushed further downward. and the intake passage 22 and the opening 34 of the movable valve 31 is vertically dislocated from each other. A flow passage area is thereby restricted and compressor capacity is restrained.

SOLUTION: A vane type compressor is furnished with a cam ring 1, a front side member 25 and a rear side member 20 arranged on both end surfaces of the cam ring 1, a rotor 2 stored in the cam ring 1 free to rotate and a drive shaft 7 of the rotor 2. In this case, the front side member 25, the rotor 2 and the rear side member 20 are formed of an aluminum material, and thin plate type sliding members 26, 27 by a valve material are provided on an end surface on the side of the cam ring 1 of the rear side member 20 free to rotate around the drive shaft 7 as their center. Consequently, the rotor 2 and the front side member 25, and the rotor 2 and a rear side block do not directly make contact with each other, and contact of the members using the aluminum material with each other is avoided.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent seizure without increasing weight and cost by forming a vane of a vane type compressor to rotate while rubbing an inner peripheral wall of a cam ring out of an aluminium type base material and an iron type covering part to cover a surface of its base material. CONSTITUTION: A vane 14 of a vane type compressor which is slidably inserted into a vane groove of a rotor in a cam ring and whose tip rotates while rubbing an inner peripheral wall of the cam ring by jumping out of the vane groove when the rotor rotates, is formed of an aluminium type base material 14a and an iron type covering part 14b to cover its surface. When the vane 14 is manufactured by a drawing construction method, a bar-shaped aluminium type base material 34a is inserted into an iron pipe 34b being the covering part 14b, and only the iron pipe 34b is heated to 200 to 300 deg.C or more by a heater 20, and is thermally expanded. Next, the iron pipe 34b and the base material 34a are inserted into a hole 21a of a die 21, and the iron pipe 34b is drawn out while blowing a cold blast against it.
