    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for simultaneously using WiFi P2P and legacy WiFi is provided to minimize the degradation of legacy WiFi performance when simultaneously using a WiFi P2P function and a legacy WiFi function. CONSTITUTION: When a request for using a WiFi P2P function is confirmed in a legacy WiFi mode, a P2P device enters a device search process of WiFi P2P. The P2P device activates an autonomous GO mode to obtain GO authority and performs a listen process through the same channel as a channel used in the legacy WiFi mode(S404-S405).
