    Abstract: PURPOSE: A shade pixel display is provided to improve convenience by displaying an alphabet, a number, and a simple image through the shadow which is freely changed. CONSTITUTION: A frame plate is divided into an upper plate(30a) and a lower plate(30b). A plurality of penetration holes(31) are formed in the upper plate. A screen(20) is depressed to the penetration hole by the up and down movement of an actuator. A magnet is attached to the position corresponding to the penetration hole in the rear of the screen. The actuator includes a solenoid(33) and an iron core(32) vertically installed under the penetration hole. The screen is made of elastic material. The actuator is a piezo actuator.
