The prevention relates to a composition for the prevention, alleviation or treatment of a Th2-mediated immune disease, the composition including, as an active ingredient, an extract of at least one natural substance selected from the group consisting of Zea mays, Boswellia carterii and Morus alba. According to the present invention, the extract of a natural substance has inhibitory effects against the generation of IL-4 and the degranulation of mast cells, and thus can prevent, alleviate or treat a Th2-mediated immune disease.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for prevention, alleviation or treatment of Th2-mediated immune diseases comprising a Pharbitis nil Chois extract as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the Pharbitis nil Chois extract has inhibitory activities against the generation of IL-4 and the degranulation of mast cells and thus can prevent, alleviate or treat the Th2-mediated immune diseases.
