A radar system includes a radar(210), a radar cover(220), a radar cover tilting device(230), and a controller. The radar cover is mounted on a front surface of the radar. The radar cover tilting device is connected to the radar cover and adjusts the tilt of the radar cover. The controller is connected to the radar cover tilting device. The controller determines the tilt of the radar cover for minimizing the reflection of a radar wave from the radar cover according to climate information received from a receiver. The controller controls the radar cover tilting device according to the determined tilt.

Abstract: A method for alerting access of a vehicle using a TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by emitting alarm using the TPMS installed on the vehicle without additionally installing short distance radar and an image sensor. A method for alerting access of a vehicle using a TPMS comprises the step of measuring a lateral acceleration of the vehicle in driving(S302). The measured lateral acceleration is compared with a preset reference lateral acceleration and LF electromagnetic waves are transferred through an LF antenna(S304,S306). Air pressure and temperature of a tire are measured in a transmitter of the TPMS of the vehicle and a TPMS of an adjacent vehicle and then transferred in the form of RF electromagnetic waves together with position information(ID) of the tire(S308). A receiver of the TPMS of the vehicle receives the RF electromagnetic waves and the tire information is analyzed(S310). A distance between the transmitter of the adjacent vehicle and the transmitter of the vehicle is measured based on the received RF electromagnetic waves. It is determined whether the ID of the adjacent vehicle belongs to the ID of the tire(S312). When the ID of the adjacent vehicle belongs to the ID of the tire, the measured distance is compared with a preset reference distance and alerts the driver risk(S316,S318).
