Abstract: PURPOSE: A parking device for an electric vehicle is provided to ensure a simple structure and obtain reduction in the weight and manufacturing costs of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A parking device for an electric vehicle comprises an outer retainer(14), an inner retainer(16), a clutch(20), a clutch compression mechanism(30), and an actuator(40). One side of the inner periphery of the outer retainer is integrally assembled with an output gear(12). The inner retainer is coupled to the outer periphery of an output shaft(10). The clutch comprises friction plates(22) arranged to be engaged with the other side of the inner periphery of the outer retainer and a disc plate(24) arranged between the friction plates with one side engaged with the outer periphery of the inner retainer. The clutch compression mechanism is arranged on the outer periphery of the other side of the inner retainer to compress or release the clutch. The actuator is installed in a reducer case to operate the clutch compression mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A power transmission system of a hybrid vehicle comprises an input shaft(IS), a first planetary gear set(PG1), a second planetary gear set(PG2), an output gear(OG), a first clutch(CL1), a second clutch(CL2), a first brake(BK1), and a second brake(BK2). The input shaft is inputted with power of an engine(ENG). In the first planetary gear set, two of three rotary elements are directly connected to the input shaft and a first motor/generator(MG1). In the second planetary gear set, one of three rotary elements is directly connected to one rotary element of the first planetary gear set and a second motor/generator(MG2) and another rotary element is variably connected to another rotary element of the first planetary gear set. The output gear is connected to the other rotary element of the second planetary gear set, not connected to the rotary elements of the first planetary gear set. The first clutch variably connects another rotary element of the first planetary gear set to another rotary element of the second planetary gear set. The second clutch variably connects two of the rotary elements of the first planetary gear set. The first brake is interposed between another rotary element of the second planetary gear set connected to another rotary element of the first planetary gear set and a transmission housing(H).
