Abstract: 본 발명은 연료전지의 가속 활성화 방법에 관한 것으로서, 기존의 정전류 출력법 및 펄스 방전법에 비해 연료전지 스택의 활성화 공정시간 및 수소 사용량을 줄이고 연료전지 생산비용을 절감할 수 있는 연료전지 가속 활성화 방법을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있는 것이다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 연료전지를 부하상태에서 미리 설정된 전류밀도의 전류 출력이 이루어지도록 방전 유지시키는 단계와, 반응가스 공급을 차단하여 연료전지를 셧다운 상태로 유지시키는 단계를 반복적으로 진행하는 과정을 포함하는 연료전지 가속 활성화 방법이 개시된다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for recovering the performance of a fuel cell stack and, more particularly, to a method for recovering the performance of a deteriorated polymer electrolyte fuel cell stack by using electrode reversal. The present invention provides a method for recovering the performance of a fuel cell stack, wherein electrode reversal, which generates potential difference between a fuel electrode and an air electrode by supplying air other than a fuel (hydrogen) to a fuel electrode and supplying the fuel (hydrogen) other than the air to an air electrode, is used so that an oxide film which is formed on a platinum surface of the air electrode is effectively removed, thereby recovering the performance of a deteriorated polymer electrolyte fuel cell stack rapidly within a short period of time.

Abstract: A device for manufacturing fuel cell stack parts is disclosed. The disclosed device for manufacturing fuel cell stack parts, which is for manufacturing fuel cell stack parts integrally including gas diffusion layers on both surfaces of an MEA, comprises i) a frame; ii) an upper die installed on the frame to be able to move vertically via a driving unit; iii) a lower die installed on the frame to fix the basic material of the MEA and the gas diffusion layers to the lower side of the die; iv) joining units installed on the upper die and the lower die separately to compress the basic material of the MEA and the gas diffusion layers at high temperatures; and v) a cutter installed on the upper die to cut joined parts, which are formed by joining the basic material of the MEA and the gas diffusion layers via the joining unit, into a certain shape.
