Abstract: Aromatic emulsifier mixture with high stability for e.g. acrylate polymer, adhesive, binder or impregnation contains sulfonyl compound. Aromatic emulsifier mixture comprises a compound of formula (I) and a compound of formula (II): R -O-(Z-O)n-SO3 K (II) X = O, S, CH2, NH or NR ; One or two of R - R = SO3 K and the remainder = H or 1-18C alkyl; R and R = 1-18C alkyl; K = cation; Z = CH2-CH2 or CH3-CH-CH2; and n = 1-50. An Independent claim is included for an aqueous polymer dispersion containing the above emulsifier mixture.

Besides the epoxide compound, the heat-curable binder may further comprise a polyol or an alkanolamine as hardener.
