Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for removing at least one first substance from a mixture that contains the at least one first substance and at least one second substance. Said method comprises the following steps: (A) contacting the mixture containing at least one first substance and at least one second substance with at least one surface-active substance, optionally in the presence of at least one dispersant, the surface-active substance binding to the at least one first substance, (B) optionally adding at least one dispersant to the mixture obtained in step (A) to obtain a dispersion, (C) treating the dispersion obtained in step (A) or (B) with at least one hydrophobic magnetic particle so that the at least one first substance to which the at least one surface-active substance is bound and the at least one magnetic particle are added thereto, (D) removing the addition product obtained in step (C) from the mixture by applying a magnetic field, (E) breaking down the removed addition product obtained in step (D) to obtain the at least one first substance and the at least one magnetic particle as separate entities.
Abstract:
A process for the preparation of surface-modified nanoparticulate copper Compounds is disclosed, which comprises the steps: (a) preparation of an aqueous solution comprising copper ions (solution 1) and of an aqueous solution comprising at least one anion which forms a precipitate with copper ions and is not a hydroxide ion (solution 2), at least one of the two solutions 1 and 2 comprising at least one water-soluble polymer such as a polycarboxylate,(b) mixing of the solutions 1 and 2 prepared in step a), at a temperature in the range from 0 to 100 Deg. C, with the surface-modified nanoparticulate copper compounds forming and being precipitated from the solution with formation of an aqueous dispersion,(c) isolation of the surface-modified nanoparticulate copper compounds from the aqueous dispersion obtained in step (b), and (d) if appropriate, drying of the surface-modified nanoparticulate copper compounds obtained in step (c).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for separating at least one first material from a mixture comprising this at least one first material and at least one second material, which comprises the following steps: (A) contacting of the mixture comprising at least one first material and at least one second material with at least one surface-active substance, if appropriate in the presence of at least one dispersant, resulting in the surface-active substance becoming attached to the at least one first material, (B) if appropriate, addition of at least one dispersant to the mixture obtained in step (A) to give a dispersion having a suitable concentration, (C) treatment of the dispersion from step (A) or (B) with at least one hydrophobic magnetic particle so that the at least one first material to which the at least one surface-active substance is bound and the at least one magnetic particle become attached to one another, (D) separation of the addition product from step (C) from the mixture by application of a magnetic field, (E) cleavage of the addition product which has been separated off in step (D) to obtain the at least one first material and the at least one magnetic particle separately.
