Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve high frequency characteristics and a leak current by carrying out oxidation polymerization for aromatic compound using transition metallic salt of organic acid as oxidizer in existence of water of a specific amount to the oxidizer. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a metal (Al) foil 1 which becomes an anode is etched and a micro bore is formed to enlarge a surface area thereof. A dielectric thin film 2 of metallic oxide (Al2O3) is formed along a wallside of the bore on the surface. A layer 3 of solid electrolyte which is formed by oxidation polymerization of aromatic compound in the existence of water of 0.1wt.% or more to oxidizer is formed on a surface of the dielectric thin film 2 to get deep into the bore using transition metallic salt of organic acid as oxidizer. An electrode 5 of a metal (Ag paste) which becomes a cathode is attached to the other side of the layer 3 of solid electrolyte. A graphite layer 4 is used between the electrode 5 and the layer 3 of solid electrolyte for keeping good contact, and electrode leads 6 and 7 are attached.

PURPOSE:To improve the barrier performance against gas such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, or the like, and water vapor by forming a multilayer vessel comprising at least two layers of thermoplastic polyester having a specified composition and polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:A perform is molded by injection molding, which comprises at least two layers of a thermoplastic layer containing an ethylene naphthalate unit of 80mol% as a repeated unit and a polyolefinic layer. It is then subjected to draw/blow molding in at least single axis direction at a temperature of 110-170 deg.C, to thereby form a multilayer vessel. The used polyolefin preferably contains a propylene unit of 70mol% as a repeated unit, and also may be a copolymer of olefin such as 1-octane of 30mol%. In order to enhance the transparency, and the barrier performance against gas such as oxygen, carbon dioxide or the like in the vessel, it is preferable to effect the draw-molding in at least a single axis direction.

PURPOSE:To improve high temperature durability by providing a metal layer on a capacitor element having a conductive polymer layer formed by oxidation polymerization of aromatic compound on the surface of a dielectric material made of an oxide film of a film forming metal and a conductor layer formed on the polymer layer. CONSTITUTION:A metal layer 3 is formed on a capacitor element having a conductive polymer layer formed by oxidation polymerization of aromatic compound on the surface of a dielectric material made of an oxide film of film forming metal 1 and a conductor layer 2 formed thereon. Accordingly, transmission of oxygen in the air through a sheathing material is suppressed, and a reduction in conductivity due to oxidation of conductive polymer is eliminated. Thus, high temperature durability is improved.

PURPOSE:To obtain the title form of highly water-absorptive expansibility with soft feel, thus suitable for paper diaper, etc., by putting a polycarboxylic acid converted into fiber to surfactant treatment and humidification and by forming into a sheet followed by compression. CONSTITUTION:(A) Highly water-absorptive fiber consisting of a polycarboxylic acid or its salt (e.g. polyacrylic acid or its salt) is treated with (B) an anionic and/or nonionic surfactant (e.g. higher alcohol ethylene oxide adduct) so as to be pref. 0.1-5wt.% in add-on. The resultant fiber is then put to humidification to effect 5-80wt.% per wt. of the fiber on a dry basis in moisture content, followed by forming into a sheet which is then compressed, thus obtaining the objective form.

CONSTITUTION:The aimed oligomer is obtd. by treating an aq. soln. of an arom. monosulfonic acid having two or more condensed rings with a peroxide and a reductive transition metal compd. As the arom. monosulfonic acid compd. to be used, naphthalenesulfonic acids, phenanthrenesulfonic acids, anthrathenesulfonic acids, etc., are cited and naphthalenesulfonic acids are pref. among these compd. As the peroxide, water-soluble org. and inorg. peroxides are used and hydrogen peroxide is especially pref. among them. As the reductive transition metal compd., those contg. iron (II) ion such as ferrous chloride and ferrous nitrate and those contg. copper (I) ion such as cuprous chloride and cuprous sulfate are especially pref.

PURPOSE:To obtain the title resin composition which can retain good water- absorptive performances and is improved in gel strength upon swelling an long- term stability of swollen gel, by mixing a water-absorptive resin with a radical chain inhibitor and a metal chelating agent in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A water-absorptive resin composition is obtained by mixing a resin formed by crosslinking a water-absorptive resin, for example, polyactylate with N-N'-methylene-bisacrylamide with a radical chain inhibitor (A) such as a gallic ester or thiourea (preferably one having a solubility in water at 25 deg.C of 0.1g/100g or above) and a chelating agent (B) such as citric acid or 1,10-phenanthroline. It is preferable that the content of each of components A and B in the composition is 0.1-10wt.% based on the dry resin, and the total of components A and B is 10% or below. This composition can be desirably used as water-retaining agents for agriculture and horticulture, water cut-off agents for civil engineering and building, dehydrating agents, sanitary napkins, disposable diapers, etc.

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled aqueous solution useful as a cationization agent of starch, etc., and storable stably for a long period, by adding a ring-opening addition reaction product of an aqueous solution of a hydrohalogenic acid or a tertiary amine hydrohalide and an epihalohydrin. CONSTITUTION: A stabilized aqueous solution of glycidyl quaternary ammonium salt (compound A) is produced by mixing an aqueous solution of the compound A with a ring-opening addition reaction product of an aqueous solution of a hydrohalogenic acid or a tertiary amine hydrohalide and an epihalohydrin. The aqueous solution of the compound A is stabilized because the quaternary ammonium hydroxide produced as a by-product in the production of the compound A is eliminated by the addition of the above additive.
