Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily take food out of a compartment by a method wherein a second container is linked with a first container, and only the first container is exposed out of the compartment when a drawer door is pulled out. CONSTITUTION:When a drawer door 4 is pulled out, a first container 10 is pulled out and nearly the whole surface is exposed, so that food can be easily taken out of the container 10. At this time, a second container 11 is linked with the first container 10 and pulled out to a place where the front of the second container 11 faces the front opening of a refrigerant main body 1. Therefore, when food is taken out of the second container 11, the second container 11 is slid to a place where a protrusion 12 comes in contact with the front end of a groove 13, so that food can be easily taken out of the second container 11. When the drawer body 4 is closed, the protrusion of the container 11 comes in contact with the front end of the groove 13, and the container 11 is automatically housed in a specified place in the refrigerator main body 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent tilting of a refrigerator, eliminate a dead space between the back plate of a refrigerator and the wall of a room and miniaturize the packing size of the refrigerator, by a method wherein the refrigerator is equipped with a leg, supported rotatably at the lower surface of a base plate by a supporting pin and set so as to be projected out of the back surface of the refrigerator when it is turned. CONSTITUTION:A leg 15 is turned about a supporting pin 16 until the end face of the leg 15 is abutted against a leg supporting unit 14c to set the leg 15 whereby the receiving unit 15c of the leg 15 is set so as to be projected rearward than the back surface plate 2c of an outer casing 2. Accordingly, the refrigerator will never be tilted by earthquake or the like even when the refrigerator is set at a place having no back wall. When the refrigerator is set at a place having the back wall or the same is delivered, the leg is fixed by abutting the roller supporting unit 15d of the leg 15 against the leg supporting unit 14b and the leg is received within the lower surface of the base plate 14. Accordingly, a clearance will never be generated between the back surface plate 2c of the refrigerrator and the wall of a room whereby the reduction of the area of installation as well as the increase of a kitchen space may be contrived. On the other hand, the packing size of the refrigerator upon the transportion for delivery of the same may be miniaturized whereby the saving of expanse may be contrived.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent a refrigerating action from being deteriorated by foods and reduce an irregular distribution of temperature by a method wherein a cold air feeding passage connected to a cold air discharging passage of a temperature adjustment device for a third chamber is arranged within a defined wall, and a case frame forming a cold air discharging passage having a plurality of cold air discharging holes and connected to the cold air feeding passage is mounted around a front surface of the third chamber. CONSTITUTION: A cold air feeding passage 19 extended to a third chamber 4 is connected to a third chamber cold air discharging passage 12, arranged in a partition wall 14. A case frame 20 opposing against a door 17 is arranged around a front surface of a third chamber 4, its upper part has a plurality of cold air discharging holes 21, and a cold air discharging passage 23 communicating with the third chamber cold air feeding passage 19 is formed by a communication port 22. Cold air controlled to a proper amount by a damper opening or closing device 10 is guided to a cold air discharging passage 23 through a cold air discharging passage 12 and the cold air feeding passage 19, cold air is supplied through a plurality of cold air discharging holes 21 toward the central part in front of an inner side of the third chamber 4, resulting in that dispersion of temperature or local freezing caused by arrangement of foods can be prevented, and concurrently, it is possible to collect irregular distribution of temperature caused by a structural aspect indicating a higher temperature at its inner front section than that of a rear part in the chamber.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent a urethane heat insulation member by insuring mounting and sealing of a drain pipe by forming a stopper part engaging with a protrusion on a drain water hole tip end of a dew reception pan and a sealing part formed on an upper tip end of the stopper part on a one end opening in the drain pipe. CONSTITUTION: A flat plate shaped protrusion 19b is provided on an outer periphery of a drain hole 19a in a dew reception pan 19. In contrast, on a one end opening part in the drain pipe 20 buried in a urethane heat insulation member 4 there are provided a stopper part 20a engaging the flat plate shaped protrusion 19b provided on the drain wall 19a and a circular sealing part 20b formed on an upper tip end of the stopper part 20a. A sealing member 21 is provided between the sealing part 20b of the drain pipe 20 and a hole lower part of the heat insulation member 4. Hereby, the drain pipe is securely mounted on the drain hole of the dew reception pan, and sealing is also secured, and the urethane heat insulation member is prevented from invading whereby a drain passage is satisfactorily insured.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pour water with easy operation by forming a water-supply port in the lid body of a water-supply tank, and providing a slide cap to be opened and closed by a slide in the water-supply port in a device for allowing water in the water-supply tank to flow to an ice-making tray. SOLUTION: The edge of a water-supply port 32 of a lid body 31 fitted watertightly to a water-supply tank 30 is formed in the depth direction being inclined of the water-supply tank 30, and a slide cap 33 is slidably mounted along the inclination of the edge of the water-supply port 32. Then, water is poured into the water-supply tank 30 from the water-supply port 32 while the slide cap 33 is slid, and the water-supply port 32 is opened. After the water is poured, a projection edge 35 at the lower part of the slide cap 33 is slid along a groove 36 of the edge of the water-supply port 32, and the water-supply port 32 is blocked by the slide cap 33, thus preventing water in the tank body 34 from being overflowed from the water-supply port 32, and hence easily supplying water.
