Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the easiness to use and storage property of a vegetable room which has risen in use frequency due to the increase of the quantity of consumed vegetable by the general trend for health in recent years. SOLUTION: A refrigerating room 25, at the top, a freezing room 27, and a vegetable room 31, at the center, are arranged, and also a cooling air duct is constituted by coupling a ventilating duct 46, which leads to the suction duct 44 of a freezing room 25 provided at the topside of the cover 39 covering a vegetable container 33 and the suction duct 45 of a low-temperature room 30, a circulating duct 48, which is made around the vegetable container 33, a feedback duct 51, which leads to the cooler 35 from the back face of the vegetable room, and a communication duct which makes the ventilating duct 46 and the feedback duct 51 communicate with each other, with one another. Hereby, the vegetable high in use frequency can be managed and preserved in the center excellent in handiness, and the storage property is improved. Moreover, the cooling capacity of the vegetable room 31 can be secured rationally while improving the temperature distribution of the vegetable container 33.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To carry out sophisticated temperature control which eliminates the nonuniformity of temperature distribution in a refrigerator capable of storing foodstuffs in a refrigerated state. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic operation means 32, which computes the degree of temperature rise, is installed to a refrigerated chamber so as to calculate the degree of temperature rise inside the refrigerator. In addition, there is installed an open air temperature detection means 31 so as to detect the temperature of open air. A fuzzy inference processor 34 carries out fuzzy arithmetic operation based on a control rule picked up from a first memory 33 with the temperature rise degree, the open air temperature, thereby determining an increase range of a setting rotary speed of a fan 14. Based on the data stated above, a setting rotary speed arithmetic operation means 35 adjusts the setting rotary speed, thereby controlling the fan. Similar control functions are carried out in a cold storage chamber as well.

A fuzzy inference processor 34 performs fuzzy logic computation based on the degree of the increase of temperature, an open air temperature, and a control rule fetched from a memory 33 to determine the reduction range of a set temperature, and based on the reduction range, a set temperature is regulated by a set temperature computing means, and a compressor, a fan, and a motor- operated damper are controlled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate unevenness in defreezing operation and enable a defreezing to be carried out within a short period of time by a method wherein a refrigerator has a defreezing control device in which during a defreezing operation in which a defreezing chamber temperature sensing means detects a higher temperature than a set temperature, an efficiency of electrical energization for a far infrared ray heater and a heater is decreased to control an electrical energization and in turn during a non-defreezing time, the defreezing chamber is kept at the third temperature range between the refrigeration temperature and a freezing temperature. CONSTITUTION:During a normal defreezing operation, a direct radiation is carried out by a far infrared ray heater 34 from an upper surface and a side surface of a defreezed food 45, a transmitted heating from a heating heater 42 at a bottom surface is carried out to perform a thermal absorption. Concurrently, during a defreezing operation, a damper thermostat 20 is opened, a cooling blower 18 is continuously operated, a clod air is uniformly supplied to a defreezed food through a passage in an upper spacing so as to restrict an increasing in temperature at the surface of the food. In the event that a temperature in the defreezing chamber is increased higher than a predetermined temperature during a defreezing operation, a thermal radiation amount of the far infra-red ray heater and a transmittance amount of the heating heater are decreased to restrict a food surface temperature from being increased. In addition, upon completion of the defreezing operation, the food temperature is automatically kept at the third temperature range between a refrigeration temperature and a freezing temperature under a temperature adjusting operation of the damper thermostat and its cold state is kept.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To thaw uniformly in a short time and perform thermal insulation which maintains a food temperature between a refrigerating temperature and a freezing temperature by heating based on the direct radiation of a far infrared heater from the top and the sides and based on the heat transmission of a heater on the bottom during thawing time, opening a damper thermostat, and driving continuously a cooling fan. CONSTITUTION:A foodstuff 45 to be thawed is heated by the radiation of a far infrared heater 34 from the top while the thawed foodstuff is heated by the reflective action of a reflecting plate 39 so that the heating may be combined equally. At the same time, a heater 42 is arranged to heat the foodstuff from the bottom based on its heat transfer. During thawing time, a damper is forcibly opened so that cooled air forcibly circulated by a fan may flow into a ventilation flue 50 in the upper part of a thawing chamber 15 from a discharge port 51 where the cooled air is discharged downward from a ventilation port of the reflecting plate 39 and the surface of the foodstuff 45 is equally cooled. The damper thermostat is also used to control the temperature during non-thawing time. This construction makes it possible to embody less variable thawing in a short time and maintain the temperature control in a temperature zone which is suitable to keep perishable foodstuff during non-thawing time.
